Vários segmentos bloqueados!

Some steep and uneven sections...probably best late spring...nice waterfall....impressive ‘levada’ no doubt bringing water to the village....beware when very wet, can be slippery under foot.

Scenic views, would be better as a circular route. Not signposted.

Great route, variety of terrains, super views at the viewpoint roughly halfway with picnic benches. Generally well signposted. Would recommend, but pretty tough - a lot of elevation throughout.

Easy “hike” that’s all stairs. Beautiful sculptures on the way up. There’s a road to the top in case not everyone in your party can walk the way up. Mostly shaded until the final set of stairs. Several cafes and gardens at the top.

Nice and moderate hike through a vineyard.

well marked trail. amazing views!

Couldnt complete the trail. Elsa storm had passed in the regions few days ago and the path was destroyed. After roughly a third of the trail it was so difficult to progress that we were down to 21mn/km so we decided to turn back. In the current state i guess it is still doable for experienced hikers with good equipment, enough battery for the mobile and gps and enough time before night. I still put 3 stars because the first third is great, very much "lord of the ring" type of atmosphere with rocky path, lots of water and a luxurious vegetation.

Really nice hike, scenery out of this world! But, be aware of dogs around Barbeita de Cima. Also, I just wanted to mention that there is a point between Barbeita and Mos village, where you need to get in a field, that seemed to be private, cross a water course (we did the hike during a very rainy winter) and then climb a wooden gate/door to come out of the private field.

This one of the most beautiful trails we did in geres. Lots of sightseeing and lots of nature. Beware that there are lots of river crossings and if its a rainy weather you'll need some waterproof boots.

Really nice, well marked trail. (Yellow and red horizontal lines painted along the way). This was our first time in Portugal and we loved the variety of forest coverage and incredible granite. The trail is slightly steeper if you start the loop towards the north, so you might consider heading south to kick things off. We had a little difficulty finding the trail head down in town, so I posted a couple pictures of the start. Once you get on the right track, it’s generally very easy to follow. Everyone else may already know this, but when they mark the yellow and red lines in an “X” instead of two horizontal lines, it means “don’t go here”.

Em novembro estava com alguns pontos alagados. Tem um Miradouro lindo no caminho.

Hiking the Camino was one of the most amazing experiences of my life! I booked my flight a week prior to the hike and started super unprepared- this made for a beautiful experience. I hiked in November/ December of 2018. it was rainy and cold but ever so breathtaking. Hiking in the fall was a great choice since there are very few pilgrims and albergues always have enough empty bed for the night.Just make sure to bring good rain gear and a warm sleeping bag. I would hike it again any day.

Très très nul ! Le sentier n'est pas marqué et c'est couvert de petits buissons épineux. De plus, il y a plein d'autres sentiers et traces d'animaux qui s'entrecoupent. A éviter!

We started walking this trail hoping it would take us through some neighbourhoods and streets we haven't seen yet as we've already explored parts of Porto on our own. While it did take us to some beautiful areas, we started venturing off the main trail as we saw streets that looked more interesting to us.
