Very nice trail with stunning views! Much of the trail has some type of roads. I'd avoid the parts of trail when it diverts from the roads (you can always go around using the roads). Some climbing required. Good parking/ services at the start/end of the trail.

Very nice walk. A bit difficult to find the starting point - it's basically the first little path on the right after you get off the main road. Nicely connects to other paths.

Nice trail, was easy to bring two dogs with, except for the most northern, where it is easier to follow the track instead of the small trail. I kid you not, I took nearly 30 ticks of the dogs, and that trail is really covered with tall grass now. But that's the only thing to concern, other than that it's cool to bring dogs. Right on top of descida das vacas there is a platform where you can sit and just admire the beauty of Arrábida. Thank you to the poster of the track!!

Très belle randonnée variés à travers forêt plaine village ,facile ,très agréable et pas de difficultés . rencontres avec les logos . les indications sont parfois effacées , Ce qui demande une petite recherche qui rend la sortie amusante.

The trail offered amazing views to the bay of Setúbal and Troia, and we passed through some portions where the trees covered the track, offering a cool breeze and a secluded feeling. At first, I regretted not bringing my dog but midway I was actually happy that I didn't because this trail is NOT EASY. There was this part right before reaching the observation tower (we did it clockwise, that is the opposite direction that was suggested) that was really steep and I often had to use my hands on the floor for balance, plus some really narrow parts where I had to push the vegetation aside. This doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it, I sure did! Just don't want anyone thinking that this is an easy one, I wouldn't recommend bringing dogs or kids with you. Finally, there is no proper parking near the suggested starting point to begin the trail, only on the side of the road. I'd suggest parking near the Capela de São Luis, that is a good starting/ending point and has space for parking. It was my first trail using AllTrails and I was joined by my girlfriend in this adventure. We're really happy with the experience. Thank you to the poster of the track!!

Please don’t try it, the trail is in a badly condition and way too dangerous! Part of the trail is basically unable to walk, you need to crawl all the way, and it cannot even be called a trail, it is just a very steep hillside full of gravel. We almost failed down from the hillside, which was very dangerous. The trail is badly marked or no mark, and easy to get loss. Apart from that, there is nothing special along the way, and you can find a better one, such as Sintra mountain.

Beautiful calm track in low season, perfect for cycling or running, I recommend to turn to right and have a look to salty mountains and flamingos.

We attempted to do this hike twice: both times it was foggy, so we decided to wait. I downloaded an app, called “Windy” which had a web cam onto the lake and once it showed a clear image - we went out! The hike started really great with warm sunny weather, clouds came in around 2pm and it got very windy and foggy. Sweater and rain jacket came to rescue!! Good trail, not very easy, but rewarding! The views are spectacular.

The hike to Castelo de Vide is steep, but lovely. After wandering around Castelo de Vide I headed to the Ermida da Nossa Senhora da Penha. The little chapel has pretty tiles and a nice view. The remainder of the loop was a bit sketchy. The trail was not well marked and toward the end I had to climb over a barbed wire fence, most likely trespass, and then leave the fenced property through a small corner that was not fenced. I would recommend returning from the Ermida or Castelo de Vide in reverse.

Excellent trail. Signage very clear to follow and maintained. Beautiful rustic villages to cross along the way, with opportunities for resting and having a meal. Might be challenging in certain places, where slope gets pretty steep or path really narrow.
