It is an easy trail with lots of shade. The route is easily identified and there are a lot of marks, well positioned and easy to see. lovely route.

WalkingGreat!

Belo percurso em terreno plano, com sombra no limite da Quinta do Lago. Frequentado q.b. por pessoas a caminhar, correr ou andar de bicicleta. Ajustado a crianças.

Great wee walk, not hard at all. The last bit of the trail is sandy, so I’d pack flip flops.

Amazing views. We took our time enjoying the magnificent show of the waves smashing against the cliffs. The creeks are very different from one another. We parked at Carrapateira where there’s a restaurant. There’s also another one before Praia do Amodo with stunning view or you can get an ice cream at the beach cash only. The way back is ok-ish; hot and sandy but is a lot faster as we didn’t stop. Due to covid we were almost alone on the hike.

Beautiful calm track in low season, perfect for cycling or running, I recommend to turn to right and have a look to salty mountains and flamingos.

Well marked trail and great scenery, both forest and water. Please note trail is very sandy and wear appropriate footwear. Enjoyed the wide trail. Some elevation but relatively easy walk.

De magnifiques points de vue mais la majeure partie de la randonnée (le long des falaises) s effectue sur une piste carrossable avec de la circulation, même hors saison touristique... c'est dommage!!

Moderate 3.5hr walk from Faro airport to a campsite in nearby town. Remote dusty roads, beachside paths, and suburban areas.

A little difficult to find at first, but one there fairly easy to follow. Uneven terrain at times (rocky). Little shade, so bring hats, sunscreen and water. Nice differential between coastal in inland route. Moderate rating is good

Lovely walk with panoramic views of coast and hills. Completed in just under two hours including stops for photos. Various spring fauna/flora on the descent. Lush despite the drought.

This was a scenic trail. A steep spot requiring some attention. If you are uncomfortable walking very near the cliff edge, there is a vehicle track very near that is more secure. We only walked part of the trail starting in Burgau. We stopped at the section before it began the descent to the beach.

Really enjoyed this trail. We marked and in a 15km span you go from rolling hills with eucalyptus trees and numerous flowering gushes to seeing rolling waves in the distance to beautiful beaches and rocky cliffs. Great restaurant to have a coffee (or lunch) about 4 k in. We had a fantastic nature provided water fireworks with huge waves against the rocks. End were the sand dunes. So much diversity

Coastline with view of small islands in the bay. Easy trail but sometimes hard to follow. Turns inland in some places. Saw a couple of dolphins along the way.

Nice little trail thru a diverse landscape. There is quite a bit of soft sand to slog thru. Halfway point is the beach. Lovely spot to while away some time.

Perfect weather on this boxing day. Very pleasant walk along the marshes of the rio Formosa. We saw some Royal Orcas and happy turkeys which passed christmas without harm.

First part a nice walk along a very wide sandy beach. Totally deserted this time of year (December). Then returned along a beach - boardwalk that bypasses several shacks. Likely previous fishermen homes.

A nice hike along wetlands. Very flat and good for bird watching. Interesting salt flats and a small Roman ruin that was used to ferment and salt fish.
