Did this trail then added an extra several miles to Ribbon Lake. Can't beat artists point views - lots of people but still gorgeous! Easy hike though very steep on the sides at certain points.

Added this on after we walked South rim to artists point. Nice trail, didn't see many people but we did see mosquitoes at the lake.

Nicely well demarcated trail. There are trees with orange trail markers. Trailhead easy to find. Started clockwise by the bathrooms at Mammoth Springs. There’s a little elevation gain and switchbacks but it’s not bad. Not many people. Be very bear aware. A family on the trail saw a grizzly. We didn’t see much wildlife, an elk and lots of squirrels. Saw no beavers but we did see several ponds. Lots of tall grass/plants. Recommend bug spray and pants. We ended at the hotel grounds with elk relaxing on the grass. It is a moderate hike. Elevation gain just over 800 feet. Liked the hike because it was not crowded at all.

Easy wander through the woods. Saw a pronghorn by the river taking a drink.

LAME. This is a hot springs / terrace graveyard. Everything is dormant. Don’t waste your time.

Good one for small kids. The only reason this gets 4 instead of 3 is for the insane wildflowers right now.

Pack bug spray!!!! The hike back was completely miserable! But can’t beat only seeing three groups of people in 15 miles!

Great first day in Yellowstone NP. We started by watching Old Faithful and then say lots of other geysers and hot springs.

7/14/20 this was a nice comfortable hike. Temps began at 47 and 9am and finished at 68 at 1:30pm. Parked at old faithful visitor center. There was plenty parking at that time. We hiked Upper Geyser Basin to Biscuit Basin to Mystic Falls and back.

We went over two days! It was beautiful and well worth it. There were a crap ton of mesquitos at our campsite and the last mile and half to the falls. So bring bug spray!!

Oh my gosh this trail was really amazing! I hike pretty often and this one is definitely difficult. Pretty steep incline the whole way. It says 4.7 miles but altogether my app told me I went 7.3 and it definitely felt that long so be aware. There is a point where you get to an area with lots of snow with a great view and I think some people stop there and head back down, but we went even higher and walked through snow and up another steep trail of rocks. It seems a little wrong but it gets you up there and the view is panoramic and breathtaking! VERY windy. There is a little alcove or rocks up there to protect you from the wind.

Parked at the General Store at bottom and walked to trailhead. From there its a good 2 miles straight up to the top. You actually follow what use to be a drivethru paved trail then meet back up with boardwalks on way back down. The place is dried up I thought and kind of a drag but the hike was a good burn and made it worth it. Seen some deer and marmots at top and buffalo dump so there is animal activity and not many people use this trail map so always keep looking.

This hike is not for the beginner or out-or-shape. It was a 2.4 mi constant climb on the way up. The first half of the climb in the trees is standard trail, the second half of the climb past the false summit is mostly scree climbing. The views are spectacular and 100% worth it, but it was a haul to get there for me. The wind is strong and cold when you get to the top, windbreaker at minimum needed for the top. The way down is pretty much falling down the steep trail you ascended. Tread carefully to care for your ankles and knees as it's easy to go fast while stopping your descent. I would do it again for sure, the views are worth every bit of the hike!

Pretty trail along the river with a beautiful waterfall. Be bear aware. Bring a hat and bug repellent. A little crowded at the falls.

I love to hike in YNP. Someone told me to get app. This app have this as an easy hike, maybe I am just fat and out of shape. But this is Definitely a huff and puff hike. Natural Bridge is an easy hike. It’s very up-and-down so many rocks on the trail. But worth it but not easy.

7/14/20. Great hike day. Day began at 7 am 60 degrees. 1 hour drive to lone star trail head from West Yellowstone KOA. We had the trail to ourselves until we arrived at the geyser. We shared the eruption experience with 6 other people. We continued on alone on the Howard Eaton trail to the old faithful plaza. We shared the Old faithful irruption experience with hundreds of others then We returned to our vehicle via Kepler Cascade ski trail.

My favorite geyser basin in the park. Beautiful springs, interesting geologic features, lake views. Easy, short stroll on a boardwalk.

Beautiful hike. Down into the canyon with the creek all along the way. Not crowded. Hard to access trailhead by car but worth it for the views. A nice rest day hike.

Nice Trail with lots of boardwalks, totally crowded (Friday afternoon). Not as impressive than other basins (e.g. Norris or West Thumb) The „stairs“ are only seen here.

Awesome trail with an incredible view of the canyon! Keep hiking past the visitor spots to get to the isolated overlooks and it’s such colorful views.

You can wander for a long time on all these boardwalks seeing the different features left as the hot springs change with time.

This was one of the highlights of my Yellowstone trip. The views from the top were amazing. Didn't see many people on the second half of the trail. I recommend a clock wise loop you get a nice view of the falls for a while. Seems like if you wanted a longer hike at the top there is a path that takes you to Fairy Falls.
