This is a beautiful hike right now (mid sept). Great colors that will only get better in a few weeks. The waterfall is second behind the beautiful peaks in the background.

well worth drive for a picture. close to airport so easy to do on way out.

Excellent trail !!!

Busy, came from the Hidden Falls Trail. Inspiration point was worth it. Nice day, beautiful weather.

Great hike up. Did the upper loop, lower was closed. No animals. Very crowded at the falls.

Wonderful hike on a lovely day. Far from strenuous. Wonderful views of the series of lakes with the Grand Tetons forming a breathtaking backdrop. Wouldn't have missed it for the world. Took me approx four and half hours with plenty of stops. Well worth pushing on to get to the end at Taggart Lake.

We did this as a lark passing through the park on Labor Day. The lower trail is closed for recovery it seems. The hiking traffic is therefore completely diverted to the upper trail and it was crowded. It is on the more moderate side of easy as the base elevation is high. But many families were on the trail and some three generation families succeeded in going the distance. The views of the lake and across the distant meadow are lovely. The Falls were extremely crowded as they can be accessed by a short walk up from the shuttle dock. It was not a serene experience. We took the boat shuttle back just to find a quieter place. This is a nice option for hikers who might not have time to do the out and back (loop not possible now with the lower trail closed).

Nice trail with spectacular views of the Grand Tetons reflecting off the lakes. The hike to Taggart is fairly easy and the hike up to Bradley is steeper. Once you get to Bradley BE SURE TO WALK AROUND THE EAST END OF THE LAKE TO THE BRIDGE! There are numerous places where you can get down to the lake for more spectacular views. I saw so many people get to Bradley, climb the hill to get an obstructed (never the less beautiful) view, then head on. Big mistake!

We are middle-aged obese hikers with bad knees. We did the whole loop and for us it was a strenuous hike. The steep elevation change about a third if the way into the hike was almost too much for me. We did the loop in the counter-clockwise direction, which seems to be how most people do the loop. I wonder if it might have been easier going in the clockwise direction, as the elevation change is more gradual. The scenery was stunning and there is a nice variety in vegetation that you travel through. We saw lots of red squirrels, some chipmunks, and what I think were Mountain Chickadees. The first part of the trail (in the counter-clockwise direction) is flat and relatively rock-free until the first bridge. It’s also the most scenic part. You could do that out and back if you want an easy, flat walk.

Outstanding - beautiful vistas of the Tetons and back towards Jackson. We clocked it about 3.99 miles for the whole loop.

Get there early! We got on the 7:30am boat shuttle and left right away, it wasn’t crowded at all. Came around a corner and were luck enough to catch a glimpse of momma black bear and her cub (probably too close for comfort, but she was just enjoying her morning like we were). Coming back down around 12 both inspiration point and hidden falls were over crowded. Great hike all around!

Nice mellow hike. Great view from the lookout. Took us 1 hour out & back to the lookout. High traffic on Labor Day. The last mile of the road in was rough, small cars may not be the best vehicle choice.

Not hike, easy walk, shade, look out to the lake. Nice for relaxing. Also good for young children.

A nice hike in the Tetons, cool waterfall at the end and pretty scenic views on the way there, having the boat option back is always nice even tho the hike itself isn’t long, we did opt for the boat back to catch a lunch reservation and some beers

Quick evening hike to phelps overlook, on to Phelps lake loop, and did a quick mile into death canyon. Trail is developed, fairly easy, with beautiful views. On the death canyon trail, watched a moose and her calf. The steep walls of the canyon are pretty amazing. Lots of traffic, young aged to old aged and everything in between.

Good hike with awesome views. Fairly long for someone from Iowa but we did it and it was great! Able to go up to inspiration point and see the waterfall so that was a great touch. Pretty crowded at some points. Would recommend starting over by string lake/Jenny lake lodge. Easier to park and less populated on that side.

Beautiful hike along a flat trail that offers spectacular views of the mountains. Not an overly congested trail which made the hike all the more enjoyable.

If your looking for a great view this is a good hike. We went clockwise from he visitor center and had a good amount of elevation. We ran into folks along the way but found the point to be a quiet place to sit for awhile. As Hidden Falls are about 1/2 mile further, most folks keep walking for that experience. Make sure you take the Moose Lake loop along the way, good chance you’ll see some.

Easy hike that takes you pretty high up on the other side of the lake. Very few people did the whole loop, so it was quiet. I did this walk with my partner and 3 month old baby and we were fine. The only wildlife we saw was a snake, but I would bring bear spray just to feel more comfortable- large parts of the trail are quite remote.
