Beautiful trail with access to the beach and forested trails!

Beautiful spots along the lake.

Easy trail, beautiful views of Lake Michigan.

A nice trail with turn offs to the shore. I was disappointed because per the ratings it was supposed to be “difficult” and it very flat and easy. Does not have the elevations stated

A great backpack only state park. I checked out all the sites and hiked most of the trails. Great scenery and a constant sound of the waves on the shore. All sites are remote from each other. If you love backpacking or just hiking, this is a great way to spend the weekend or the day. Reserve early.

july 12 just after rain. terrible mosquitos but gorgeous moss covered rocks glades of fern amid cedar. take hiking shoes, poles and deet for a good time.

A pleasant hike through the forest with nice turn offs to the lake shore for great views. Fellow hikers few and far between.

We did not do the whole 10.7 miles (we had a cranky 4 year old with us who was not happy to ride on her dad's back), but we probably did about 2-3 miles of the loop total. What we did was really nice, with some great views of the lake. The trail was well-marked, too.

Such amazing deep greens and rock formations. It was very quiet when we visited and we felt as if we had the park to ourselves

Have camped at Site 12, 14 & 15 so far. All have their unique charm. Love this place. Well kept trails & sites. Clean pit toilets. Lots of trails to hike and nooks to explore.

Nice trail with great views of Lake Michigan. I first ran these trails at age 16 while on a camping trip. Lots of shade, lots of tree roots so watch your step!
