Description

Kinnickinnic State Park is located in one of the Midwest's most beautiful areas, the Saint Croix River Valley. Check out the many popular water based activities along the St. Croix River such as swimming, boating, and fishing. Sunbathing, wind surfing, and water skiing are also other activities done on the river frequently. There are miles of hiking trails and picnic areas equipped with tables and grills throughout the park. The largest picnic area overlooks St. Croix. During the winter, the east side of the park has trails for snowshoeing and skate skiing whereas the west side of the park has trails just for cross country skiing. Note that this park allows dogs but they must be on a leash. Dogs are not allowed in buildings, picnic areas, or the swimming beach.
