great hike one of the best around here. did 12 miles but alltrails seems to like to mess up my recordings last minute lately

Hiked with a 40lb pack. Took 3.5 hours. Lots of small hills, not much for views or overlooks.

Mid-December. Well marked, well maintained trail through the woods. nothing spectacular hiking-wise but nice exercise in the woods not far from Milwaukee. missed the little loop (it's marked as blue, just slipped my mind to look at the map) so we only had a tad over 10miles.

Great trail for a training hike! Well groomed and scenic enough to keep me interested for it’s entirety. Hiked it alone. Plenty of places to rest if needed.

Great late November trek. Other hikers along blue loop. Passed 3 deer hunters adjacent to trail. Blaze orange recommended for hikers during Wisconsin deer gun season!

Beautiful trail. A bit noisy at the beginning because of highway 12 but as you hike longer the noise goes away.

Fairly easy trail. Nice hike around the lake.

I thought the trail was nice at first and then I stumbled twice across two trails that are closed and instead of going way out of my way I had to go through brush

I ended up doing the orange loop because I started so late in the day. Training for Mt Rainier. Nice elevation change. Would be challenging on a mountain bike for sure. Pretty rocky.

well marked. can do the whole blue loop or cut it short as needed with the easier green trail

Hiked Blue to Green loop (5.7 miles)on a hot and humid morning in July. Beautiful trail, although a small part of the blue loop had a road nearby. We saw quite a few monarch butterflies. Not swarms, but single monarchs fluttering by every few hundred feet throughout the hike.

Beautiful segment of the Ice Age Trail. Definitely wouldn’t rate it as easy though!

For a Midwest trail this was quite enjoyable. It was very beautiful, very well marked, wide path, and a perfect distance for a day hike. We didn’t see a lot of wild life but we did see what I think was a wild turkey. It did begin to rain near the mile 5 mark but it didn’t take away from the experience. Barely anyone on the trail. Saw maybe 2 people as paths came together and one biker. Bring cash. You need to pay to park but it is worth it. Luckily the person I was with cash.$11 day pass for non residents was a totally fair price.

Beautiful section, nicely maintained, I would say a moderate trail for difficulty, not too hard but some steep ups and downs, bring your bug spray!

the bikers on the trail were very uncurtious. We almost got hit several times by bikers. Not a bad trail, just not very curtious for hikers.

Good well maintained trail. Wish there was more of a payoff for the nearly 12 miles of hiking. Still a nice trail.

An enjoyable trail with a few really nice views of the lake. Mosquitoes were heavy in the wooded section near the marshy area a short distance after starting from the parking lot and going clockwise.

We lucked out this morning as the trail was closed to bikes until 12, so we had the trail to ourselves. A few bikes in the afternoon but not too many. Apart from a couple of crossroads where navigation was a little difficult, the rest of the trail was easy to follow. Using this app was great for the crossroads! Mostly a forest hike with a couple of more open sections.

great variety of forest, lake, and prairie. I love that half way through the hike there is a nice view of the lake with benches. When hiking in clockwise direction I sometimes take the horse trail in the beginning to skip the rocky steps but then face face a super steep descent instead. Takes 10 minutes off the hike.
