Decent hike. Uphill short distance to top then mostly downhill to elephant rock. There is a bench there for resting. Portions of just rock trail and some parts sand. No bugs this time of year.

We did the 5 mile Green trail and the two mile Red trail. Some bigger hills to walk at the start of both and about the same level of difficulty. The only real difference was the length. Scenery was wooded and lots of shade and filtered light.

Day after Road America running double sessions with MotoVid. Tired and felt blah all day at work. Tiring hike, but glad I did it. Off to home for early bed time.

HikingGreat!MuddyOff trail

An educational and beautiful hike. Numerous springs, buildings and vista's. View of the marsh was incredible. A little muddy in spots, but it was expected as the hike is amongst natural springs lol.

HikingGreat!Rocky

Hiked mid September 2020. Conditions were good. Wet from previous night's rain, and there was a little drizzle towards the end of our out-and-back trip. Saw several different species of fungi, birds were active, and a few other woodland creatures made appearances. Pine needles smelled fantastic in the morning. There's a nice hillside full of ferns somewhere in the middle of this segment. Benches are frequent. Make sure to sign the logbook at the overlook! Overall this trail was kind of fun. Moderate difficulty. Not much to see, so probably won't hike it again.
