Easy walk around the lake. We walked a little bit of all of the trails. Wound up on the highway outside of the park. Wrong turn somewhere. A couples trees down across path but easy to walk over.

A wind storm, possible tornado, on July 20, 2019, has left this trail impassable for the summer. Tried to navigate the trail tonight and couldn't finish the loop with all the debris. Wear plenty of insect repellent if you attempt this trail.

Beautiful trail with lots to look at and be amazed by. The butterfly population that is there is incredible, they are everywhere!! Due to the bad storm that came through the area, a lot of the trees on the trail have been tipped over, so if you are doing the hike make sure that you are okay with going over/under/around the trees. Make sure to keep your eyes open for all the trees that are marked with a yellow strip, as they will guide you on your path. Also, make sure to watch for the large boulder that is on the trail, there is a special surprise hidden on it!!

The trail itself is great, I did it last Fall and have been wanting to do more of it again. Unfortunately the biting flies were horrible and I could only tolerate them for a mile.

This trail is simple but offers a gorgeous view around the lake- I love how crystal clear the lake is and how the trees reflect off of it! My dog loved it too! :)

Great hike. Still very icy. Very little wildlife yet.. A good exercise for the dog. Intersects with the ice age trail.

Nice hike on a hot and humid morning, the wild life was a bonus, 2 deer walked across the trail right in front of me, and didn’t even care that I was there, the geese and their Babies were a different story though

Highly recommend if you’re into trail running because it offers good elevation gain! If you park on Hwy 54 you can run the Ice Age Trail to 2nd Ave then do the small loop section and head back, it’s 20 miles round trip. It’s brutal but fun!

Very quiet park. Did not see another person the entire time we were here. The trails were a little rough. At times the only path was where a maintenance vehicle had driven a while ago.

I've camped and hiked here on quite a few occasions, it's a great state park to disappear in for day hiking or a weekend of hiking and camping.

We followed the ice age trail section in & through this area. Trail well marked & maintained. Loved the depth of the forest. Also grateful for the pit toilets! Beautiful area!

This is a beautiful & wild area to hike! Probably my favorite from our recent trip to the area. A little challenging (though I had already completed a 6 mile loop earlier so was worn down)! Just a great area to spend time in & feel renewed!

The single track trails were smooth and well-marked. There were quite a few people biking, however, and even though they're said to be two-way, you're going to have to be careful of a collision if someone is coming from the opposite direction.

Well kept trails, great for beginners to veterans of the sport. I have seen all ages do this trail, so come check it out!

Excellent trail with a lot of fun obstacles. Great starter trail or really good for better bikers as well. Two-way single track was a little scary to think but only saw one other biker on trails... Will definetly be back.

Great trails. Could be done by anyone, many different routes. There's isn't one 8 mile loop like it may seem because of the description, but there is def 8 miles of trails you can navigate between. A lot of shade too! I was out on a sunny saturday afternoon and came across just one couple, which is always nice. Will be back.
