Great hike with the family. Even on an extremely hot day, the views were worth the effort.

My absolute favorite. So beautiful, so serene.

Take it easy going up if you arent used to walking up hills. The grade is gradual. The scenery is well worth it! If you go all the way around it does get rocky and close to the edge at some areas

It is a lovely hike in the spring. It’s nice to see the land “waking up” from winter. The meadow portion only had a couple wet spots. Once one arrives in the woods, it’s pretty clear until you get higher up, where there is some snow on the trail.

Moderate loop that took us 2 hours on the dot to complete, with minor rest stops at the bluff tops. The lower leg (Tumbled Rocks Trail) offered a surprisingly cool landscape.

It was worth the 3 Hour drive. The snow and ice made more special.

This is the trail where I always start my hikes into Devil's Lake State Park because it is the path less taken. You can hike for a few hours round trip and see hardly anyone if you take this quiet path up to the East Bluff via Woodland trail, then do the Devil's Doorway loop and then down the pot holes then back up the CCC, then out again through the meadow. Take enough water, I always see people looking miserable, overheated and dehydrated because they underestimate the energy and time they will spend on these trails.
There are a lot of people at the top especially in the summer. Recommend taking your time, stopping for a picnic in and amongst the boulders along the escarpment. Also go in spring and fall, not so much in the summer unless it's early morning on a Tuesday or Wednesday, if you prefer solitude.

This is an awesome hike. Took my 3 yr. old daughter and she did pretty well on the inclines (although it was slow going). Had her in the backpack for the hike out thru the woods. Views were great. Pretty busy even during the week in the fall.

Good trail. Nice scenery and fairly easy.

Really nice--really long easy trail head for hikers with limitations. Once beyond this point, be prepared to rock hop through the actual glen.

Very pretty trail. Didn't do the full course but planning on it. Went on a gorgeous day out & I loved how there was miniature waterfalls along the trails. Pure fresh cold water. Definitely going back.

We went hiking with walking toddlers from age of 4 with Hike it baby group from Madison, they were able to Hike all the way to the waterfalls, this is a busy trail after 10am

Beautiful trail!

Steep climb up CCC Trail and very steep decline among potholes Trail - beautiful scenery and view!

Favorite light hike to take my 5 year old on. Quite a few options to add a little distance to.

Crowded on weekends, especially in summer.

I really adore this trail, it is beyond what I expect,we went with the hike it baby group and enjoyed the wild flowers, butterfly and the waterfalls was gorgeous, the trail is moderate for new beginners, wear sandals or water proof hiking boots , bring hiking poles as you will need them to climb the boulders, parking gets fully pretty quick try to be there before 10am during the week, I was disappointed to see the bathing in that bed condition. But everything looked amazing in that trail

Nice trail - not a loop. Lots of trees, well marked.

A bit of a challenge for some to reach the top ridge, but it is entirely worth. There are many memorial benches to sit and soak in the view.

Beautiful views along the whole trail-Would disagree that it is lightly trafficked, at least when I was there it was pretty people heavy.

Amazing! One of the best hikes I have done. We went after a rain storm and had to do a bit of jumping on rocks to get to the end. If you look up at the end you will see a way to go from the creek to the ridge above it. You can then walk on a trail above the waterfall on your way back for a different angle.

Underrated, definitely worth checking out.

Do this a few times every year!

With today's cold snap the glen is full of ice falls! The creek and waterfall itself is still unfrozen and flowing (waterproof boots!), but numerous icicles and ice sheets grew from the rock walls. Really neat.

It was fun but it was basically all up hill and then after walking 2 miles. We had to turn around at the end and walk back down hill. But I did see a cardinal and four white tailed deer so that was pretty cool.

Largely paved trail with steep stairs at places. Clean and no obstacles. A series of purple quartzite cliffs offer excellent views toward part of Baraboo to the north, East bluff to the east, the moraine to the southeast, and Devils lake down below. On return took the Tumbled rock trail along the lake, nice talus fields.
