Love this trail. There's plenty to see between the waterfalls and rock formations, and the variety of the river flow--at times it's volatile and others it's glass-like and gentle.Grills, structures with picnic tables, and clean toilets too. A must do and see.

I feel lucky to live near enough that I can visit multiple times each year. This park certainly changes with the seasons. The water really runs high in the spring. It's worth multiple looks!

You can manage all three trails in one visit. Bring something to eat and wear bug repellent. This park is a must see!

A really great hike along the River. Looking into the forest you will see many species of mushroom. Cannot wait to do a camp outing here. Highly recommend.

Beautiful park with nice trails and lovely scenery. Highly recommend stopping by and checking it out.

Nice easy hike. Beautiful scenery.

I love this loop. I visit it probably a half dozen times a year. Great views, easy hiking, places to camp, accessible restrooms. Weekends are quite busy by the falls.

Wonderful easy trail.

Absolutely beautiful. Peaceful walk on the south river trail through trees with the river to your left. Great picnicking near the swimming beach. And not too crowded. Well maintained. We didn't bring our kids on this vacation, but we will come back with them. I would not hike with a stroller, but the trails are easy enough that you could wear them in a backpack.

Pretty descent campgrounds with a beach at the bend of the Eau Claire River. The old highway separates the campgrounds from the actual park so be cautious, people are usually speeding through. The Wisconsin Glaciation marked the end of the last ice age, roughly 10,000 years ago, at the Dells of the Eau Claire witness, first hand, the scars of those ancient glaciers through the rushing falls and glacial pot holes of these dells. Along the river and throughout its wooded banks you'll find surmountable evidence of this areas geological history. As a teenager my sister, friends, and I used to leap from the tall shoulder of the highest rock cliff of the main falls, plunging into the rushing falls below- VERY STUPID in retrospect but great memories none-the-less. The water is always icy and clear and the rocks great for drying off after a quick swim. Great for all skill levels. Don't forget to bring a camera!
