Description

Aztalan State Park surrounds the Crawfish river making it a great place to go boating, canoeing, and kayaking. This park also features activities such as hiking, picnicking, fishing, hunting and trapping. During the winter, cross country skiing and snowshoeing are allowed however the trails are not maintained. Aztalan State Park is also a National Historic Landmark that exhibits an archaeological site of an ancient Middle-Mississippian village.
