Great hike super steep and busy but not in a bad way. Seeing the paragliders was cool. Not a tone of places to use the bathroom due to the consistent vertical assent so... if you see a good spot. Take the time because it could be a while before you find another private spot. Freaking great hike short but steep and a great workout without a huge commitment .

Very good hiking workout. Incline the whole time. Very rocky though, don’t twist an ankle! Great view at the top.

Perfect easy loop for after work.

Novice hiker. First time on Chirico, and I’ll be back! Weather was great. Plenty of people and dogs out. :) I enjoyed watching the paragliders take off. First time hiking alone, and I felt safe here.

5/2/2018 (Wednesday) -- beautiful weather, lots of dogs, hikers, runners, and paragliders. The trail is basically dry, not muddy, getting broader. Very pleasant.

Hiked this morning with Hubby and 2 year old son. We took the Nook trail up and did a loop. Steep, moderate grade, but the rocks were amazing! I got some great pics, would definitely do again!

Great views at the top. Did this with my 13 month old in a carrier. There happened to be a running event the day we went so the parking lot was full and you aren’t allowed to park on the road near the trail. Fox Hollow farms (about a half mile south of the parking lot) has parking for hikers, and had lots of animals for kids to pet as well as snacks, hot dogs, and ice cream for sale....great stop, especially if you’re with kids. Despite the added distance due to parking, I loved this trail. There were lots of people, but it made me feel safe since it was my first time on the trail and I was hiking alone/just with my baby. 2 stunning views at the top, saw 2 bald eagles, and got to watch the hang gliders.

Decent trail. Start from the right side of the trail, along bus trail to get a harder hike then go up.

Good trail. Great view of Rainier and got to watch a paraglider launch off. Well maintained. Nice forest hike.

Lots of dogs on trail, friendly hikers, view of Mount Rainier is gorgeous near the top.

I have done this trail before and loved it as much today as I did the first time. Although a Weds, the trail was busy with people and furry four-legged friends. An incredibly beautiful day. It's a great running trail for those who would like the challenge. One woman had run the trail 18 times today!

4/23/2018 (Monday) -- Move up by TMT and K3 for 2.6 miles, costing nearly 2 hours, then lunch on West Tiger RR, and down by West Tiger 3, Talus Rock, Nook. The parking lot and the road have been newly paved in pleasant condition.

Incredible views of Rainier at the top! Great hike, great workout, fun to see the paragliders launch at the top!

Awesome trail. Great rewarding view at top. A little bit crowded during midday. Lots of unleashed dogs.

Nice hike through the woods, steep grade, but not too difficult. Beautiful View at the top. Well worth the effort.

This is my go to trail when I don't have a lot of time. It is quiet and only requires a little effort to get to from the High School side.

Great hike and an even better workout w/ spectacular views.

Great sunset hike. Feel comfortable hiking alone as you are never really alone.

Hiked this on Saturday, March 17th 2018.

Started on Nook, continued up an unmaintained trail towards the summit of West Tiger 3, (2,522ft) went down Cable Line and circled back to the parking lot. Up and down in under 3hrs.

Conditions were perfect. no snow or ice. Bring layers! Our hands very quickly started stinging from the cold at the top. Hardly any views. its mainly a hike through the trees.

Arrive early if you can. we started before sunrise and by the time we got down, the parking lot and the side of the road were lined with cars.

Discover Pass required.

opened our season with this trail 2 weeks ago and unfortunately everybody else had the same idea. the trail does not have the capacity to safely handle hundreds of people at a time. we had to stop and wait for groups of 10+ often enough that the 3 kids with us did not need breaks up or down. pretty view but not good for the first few nice days in WA

The start was a little tricky to find, it’s across the street from the side you can park on right by a school bus sign. The hike itself was a breeze. Not too much elevation, on and off tree cover. Saw all of three other people despite there being quite a few cars parked. Overall very nice quick day hike.

Great hike! The views are amazing and it is fun to watch the paraglider.

Nice hike with things to see along the way! The huge Talus rocks were amazing and saw a beautiful waterfall as well. Not a difficult hike at all.

It has a new entrance since the last time we were there. Cold at the top, a little foggy but great view and we did it in record time...for us...after a knee injury and a few years removed.

very nice, quiet & clean. Trail head was a little hard to find at first...very small sign on side of road. parking is along the road to.

Really fun trail! Hard to find at first since its a trail with in a trail! But the rocks were cool!

Took my High School girls lacrosse team there for a team bonding event. Great switchbacks, great views, and super friendly people on the hike. Highly recommended, for all ages.
