Did this trail on a Saturday and quite enjoyed it. Hardly anyone else on the route and the views are excellent. Well marked and easy to follow trail. We went searching for the second view and ended up doing ~12.5km total. Found a bit of a second view. Steep at the start then a steady incline. Few roots and rocks.

Starts steep, then gets better. According to the posts at the trailhead it is 1.64 miles there, 1.64 miles back. The overlook is amazing and well worth the hike. No real views of Mt.Baker, but you get those from the ferry.

A somewhat steep climb initially that eventually levels off. Definitely worth the hike to the top where you are greeted with breath-taking views of the SJ islands.

Once you hit the first, "look-out" on the top of Baker's Preserve seems like the end of the trail but it's about another 1.25 miles to the actual peak. In getting to the peak the trail you will hit a large area of just logging materials but you keep going. The view is a bit hard to find but once you do it's completely worth it. Also during sunset would be amazing to see but if you do that just make sure to bring headlights!

This is one of my favorite hikes! Worth the trip to Lummi Island for sure.

Not much to the hike other than the look out. Starts out extremely steep and gradually evens out. Watch out for stinging nettles!

Beautiful hike up to a gorgeous view of the islands. About 12 miles round trip if you hike from the ferry dock like we did and continue on a bit past the lookout onto Washington fish and wildlife trails.
