Wish it had more lookouts but it was the perfect hike for me, my mom and best furry friend!

beautiful trail that gets really steep on the climb up.

Challenging yet doable without lots of experience. I suggest bringing water and a snack to have at the beach!

great trail fun going down the hill to beautiful Lake Washington not for the fragile gets pretty steep & must watch ur footing..

We did it mid morning after a rainy night. Could see where the gravel had washed down the trail but no muddy areas. North trail is more natural where as the seminar portion seems to be more or less a narrow road. Pleasant walk. Will try other trails up instead of seminary portion. It was 1.7 mi. 371’ elevation.

how is this rated "hard" ?

Easy to walk and hike around. Need a few more signs on the trail.

great trail can be muddy in parts

Hiking, swimming, nature walking, cool park! Lots of trails but lots of hills.

We went the opposite direction - seminary to beach to north. This was a nice little loop. Great shade for a summer evening. I would say it's on the hard side of easy or easy side of moderate because of some of the inclines, but I had my active 3 year old with me, and he made it all the way through with a few short breaks.

Short and sweet! I went on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon with my dog. Once we reached the water, it was a little crowded with people soaking up the Seattle summer sun but we still found a little shaded niche to admire before heading back up the north side.

Nice trail with dogs, your dog can swim, fun :)

The trails a little dusty because we haven't had rain in a while, but it was a beautiful Saturday morning hike.

Nice evening hike to take with dogs.

Did this hike with two eight year olds and a 2 year old in a pack. Hiking up the South Ridge with a chubby toddler on my back definitely made this feel moderate. The kids had no trouble. Lots of snails, slugs, caterpillars, fungi, wildflowers, bugs, baby spider nests, and hollow tree stumps for them to enjoy along the way. Perfect little hike to break in the new hiking boots.

Beautiful trail and convenient to city living. But it’s not all easy if you have knee problems.

Fun and easy. great views

Easy trail, sign said it was washed out but it wasnt bad. Id recomend other trails in this area.

Great trail, easy, nothing too difficult. Great views of the lake. Ive never hiked in the area so this was very nice surprise, the Trees and vegetation, plus the wildlife made it perfect. Very little mud, but bring shoes with grip. $10 per day for parking, dogs on leash. Moderate trail for younger kids, but worth it. On the north side trail there was a sign for aggressive owl but didnt see it. If you take the trail clockwise the inclines are easier

Loved this trail. It’s an oasis in the edge of the city. It’s muddy right now. Signs posted warning about an aggressive owl. Didn’t see one though.

Part of the trail is basically a gravel road. Prefer a wooded trail.

Fun for beginners like me, challenging hills but not too bad. Halfway through you get to the lake which is neat break

Beautiful park with a multitude of challenge levels from mild, moderate, and difficult levels of trails to explore. In the heart of the city!

Beautiful and easy! Have been doing this over and over cause it’s short and good doggie exercise

Beautiful trail, especially for being in the suburbs. Walk it with my dog when I don't feel like driving to the mountains.

beautiful trail and scenery, not too difficult, but allows for a nice walk or exercise depending on your mood.

Delightful! Up and down and scenic! Will be back.

Great trail with beautiful views of the lake. Nice, little private beaches that you can climb down to.

The trail was a little hard to follow but overall very pretty. You could see the water almost the whole time.

short hike, but nice views
