We did this about 3 years ago. It is a beautiful and exciting place. Ask a native what a gooyduck is. Not sure how to spell it but it is a large, clam-like shellfish that can be found here.

We went to take our family for a scenic walk. This might be a good place for a picnic, but not much else. There's about a quarter mile of beach, and that's really it. No trail to speak of. I was a little surprised it required a discover pass.

This is a beautiful place. It makes a wonderfull part of an Olympic Penninsular loop of it is a nice day trip from Seattle or Tacoma.
