Loved the water and how it rushes against the rocks. Something peaceful about this place.

Great hike, first one of the year! Happened to be on the same day of a local run... helped mark the trail!

One of my favorite hikes. Really easy to get to. When the creek bed is dry it’s a blast to walk through, just watch your feet!

Great hike today! The weather was nice and the sun was out finally! The creek is still pretty high so no walking down in the creek bed yet. Hopefully next month it will dry out.

Beautiful view with wildflowers. Creek was still a little high but didn’t stop us on our adventure

It’s was a pretty walk.

Easy trail with great views of the river. Good birdwatching, too.

Great views along the river and from the suspension bridge...

Beautiful, diverse trail. Deep Creek is currently unpassable due to water flow - cross on 7 Mile road. Tranquility was a bit marred by the sounds emanating from the ORV park, but the sights made up for it.

Foggy with drizzle, tried doing the loop today. Deep Creek is flowing and uncrossable. Trails are compact ice and mud. Yaktrax or spikes a must

great spot, easy to find. if you go right now (jan.) you might want to bring microspikes. the trail is iced over completely.
will be back when we get fresh snow to go snowshoeing

A very peaceful walk during the lovely fall.

Fun had by all, excepts for beans

Beautiful day today!

Beautiful scenery.... Nice trail for an out of shape guy.

Very easy and flat little hike. I did it clockwise which seemed good. After crossing the bridge the first half is through the forest, no spectacular views but good enough. Then when you turn east the views of the river are very nice. Took an hour total including plenty of sightseeing and lazing around.

Awesome trail closer to 26 miles though

There is a nice view at one point..... It's a very nice loop but there are a lot of turn-offs so pay close attention to the map.

This is one of the best loops in Riverside Park that DOESN'T follow the river closely. Though the river is arguably the best feature of the park, this trail manages to provide constant engagement and interest without interacting much with the water. The climbs, views and variation in landscape are quite captivating.

Sooo beautiful. Went in spring and early summer. Great views. If you want to get to the bridge quicker you park at the lot further from spokane.

This already favorite area around Spokane was made all that much better by a super rare visit from my sister and family. No way to not give it 5 stars with that ultimate combo. This hike is a must-see for visitors to the area, one of the nicest spots along the Spokane River. Most people probably just do a short hike around Bowl & Pitcher like we did today. Further exploration, as I have been doing, reveals seemingly endless miles and connections with countless other trails in the area. Hopefully Spokane preserves this as a natural area for generations to come instead of caving into developer pressure or budget concerns.

Great

I did a longer version of this loop today, an awesome find. I followed the river up past the gun club, around the bend again, then looped back on trails 201 and 210 up a ridge. You get to be close to the river on the way out, and up above in a very scenic area on the way back. Very nice indeed. I'm glad it started getting dark when it did, otherwise I might have kept going along the river and missed this cool experience.

Didn't see a single person the hour I spent here. Some pretty neat views from some ridge points and in the dry river bed. Mostly followed the trail but wandered off here and there. Pretty easy hike, shoes were sandy with burrs after this trail, probably mostly from hiking the river bed and off the trail. Is right next to the road which was disappointing. Well maintained and clean though.

Despite several stretches where you aren't quite sure if you're on the right trail, this is a great hike. We used the WTA hike info for this one to make sure we didn't wander off track too much (I'll post the link below). The views from the high point of the trail are beautiful, and the rolling hills keep the trek from getting monotonous.

Loads of asphalt... pure asphalt. Not great for hikers... if you use some of the feeder trails, there are beautiful trails with canyons and great climbing spots to scout out, but a pretty lame hike, especially in the heat of the day. You'll just cook. However, river is beautiful. I would rate this easy. Nothing moderate about it except the heat aspect. Early or later in the day is much better. Great for bikes, strollers, wheelchairs and ATV's...
