Great trail to do with young 9 & 13 yr old boys. Annoying horse poo everywhere but saw a huge owl and it was a very well paved/wide easy trail.

Super peaceful with lots of shade. Flat, moderate traffic. Perfect escape for a couple hours.

So peaceful and quiet!

Short and easy. So peaceful to take in the water views and listen to all the nature!

Short trail. It's interesting that you can hear the loud sound of frogs by the pond.

Nice little walk in quiet woods not too far away from town. Nothing spectacular but easy and peaceful trail.

Great for kids, but it can take awhile if they like to go off-roading and find things to climb on.

Great well maintained trail. It's great for running or walking with friends as it is wide enough to walk side by side. You can walk as little as 2 miles in a nice loop.

Easy trail with helpful signage and plenty of parking. Very green inside though not much to see.

Pleasant trail, mostly flat. Its going to be cooler than the city so dress accordingly. Has some patches of horse poop! Need to watch out.

I like the trale

Decent nature walk, but the moderate rating is a bit misleading. Trails are almost roads with how wide, flat, and well maintained they are, and only a few extremely short grades of any significance.

This trail surprised me. I was expecting it to be more crowded and city-like, but it feels fairly remote given how close it is to civilization. It's lush, shaded and just the right length for a quick outing.

Beautiful trail on the edge of Redmond.

Before I say anything about the hike itself let me warn you that if you park at all on the road (asphalt) proper you may be towed. When my daughter and I arrived two tow trucks were towing vehicles that seemed to be posing no hazard, with a sheriff supervising. The hike itself is verdant and lacks difficult inclines but does have some large fallen trees to skirt. It's narrow at times and almost completely covered by trees. Lovely. Beware the popularity of dogs and their owners, which can make your arrival at the falls something less than tranquil (I like dogs but not when they're shaking water onto me and barking up a storm). We hike at a good rate and made it in and out in just over two hours, clocking at about 6 miles.

Easy kid-friendly hike. There are plenty of options to make the hike longer or shorter. The scenery is beautiful and lush. Plenty of shade making it a nice choice for hot summer days. It is a trail used by horses, so be ready to dodge mounds of horse poop.

Great easy, medium 4.4 mile run. Constant shade and very beautiful.

Not a huge challenge, but so much fun and scenic.

Beautiful trail to run. 2nd time racing this course. Would love to run it easy with a camera. Almost a crime to not stop and enjoy the scenery

Great dirt trail system between the Watershed and Redmond Ridge; encompassing over 15 miles and 1200 acres. Keep your ears and eyes open for bears in the spring and summer months.

It's a good trail in the heart of Redmond. Family friendly trail. I have done this couple of times with my 3 and 6 year old.

it was great

Nice hike for all skill levels. Very well maintained trail with several other trails leading off of main trail. Nice restroom facilities at trailhead (South entrance). Mile markers marking the trail. Watch for horse poop, quite a lot on the trail. Small pond with viewing area.

4/5/2015 (Tuesday) -- Pleasant easy walk in the woods with multiple loops to choose, light traffic, enjoyable solitude. In addition to a larger parking lot on the southern end as the map shows, there is also a small parking lot on the northern end (218th Ave NE), which the map does not show.

Nicely maintained wooded trails. Share the trails with bikes and horses. No dogs allowed. We were there on a quiet weekday, but I would imagine it can be pretty busy on the weekend.
