Very easy walk, wheelchair accessible for the most part. Steps to beach washed out today. Otherwise, a nice walk.

I would recommend this trail to people with small children and anyone else except those who cannot traverse stairs.

Whenever I have people visit from out of state I make sure to take them on this trail, it’s nice and easy for almost anyone, very level except for the bit down to the beach. And has some nice views of the bay. I wouldn’t call it a hike so much as a nice walk. The beach also has lots of driftwood which would be perfect for building a beach fort, if only I could get someone to do it with me, I’ll bring lunch :D I also love the fact that dogs aren’t allowed! I honestly wish more trails didn’t allow them, since so many people don’t actually pack out their dog’s crap

Really? No dogs allowed?? What is up with that??

Pleasant hike through old growth birch forest to a pebble beach with fabulous views of Puget Sound island and Olympic Peninsula beyond.

One of my favorite places. Its a nice walk down to the beach. There is a steep hill right at the end of the trail to the beach, but the trail is very mellow and shady. Super relaxing to go for an evening stroll and enjoy a gorgeous sunset or during the day for family play time.

very easy, quiet, nice hike.

easy trail but a bit steep on the return trip from the beach
