First half was wide and had good views of the city. Second half was narrow and buggy but still was pretty.

Lots of bugs and very overgrown in the beginning. Otherwise, there were beautiful medows and views.

Dogs on leash people, then they won't go eating weird things or poo everywhere.

Great views and easy trail! Gorgeous wildflowers in the spring, and path is somewhat clear in winter too.

great hike, muddy spots, snakes.

lovely little walk! great for kids, lots of views.

Beautiful sunny day! Beautiful hike! This place give amazing views of Spokane! The trail was great, at times muddy with some standing water, but still great.

Great hike! No mud or bugs- easy fun trail with amazing views!

The trail and area is beautiful. However... there are homeless camps throughout the park and as we passed by one of them one of our pups managed to snag a little piece of a something that had marijuana in it. We didn’t know until hours later when we were in the emergency vet with him. He’s going to be fine, but I can’t say I’d recommend the park of you have pets.

Great hike! Has great views and different trails to take. Right now, there is a lot of standing water on the trail. Boots should be worn as it is muddy. It was not busy when we went, which was in the afternoon. There was lots of dog poop.

The views are so amazing! Easy walk but pretty muddy currently. TONS of dog/horse poo along this trail so keep an eye out for it. I wore sneakers but would recommend boots of some kind as it's pretty muddy.

Raves for the closeness to city of Spokane and views of the city. Rants to dog owners who ignore the leash rule and who allow their dogs to poop all over the road-trail. These owners leave their dogs' poop in the middle of the trail, all along the sides of the trail and on the bluff outlooks that everyone likes to walk on to see the view. I have seen cars drive up and let their dogs out of the car to go poop and then go back to the car. The driver and passengers never leave the car. Snow is still on the trail so wear appropriate shoes.

A lot of melting snow, so it's a lot like walking in deep sand right now. Beautiful views!

Hiked with our 3 older boys!! We all enjoyed it. Wasn’t very much traffic. Was very peaceful.

One side of the trail is basically just a wide dirt road and the second half of the trail is stomping through tall scratchy grass. The view of the city is great but as a whole this “trail” isn’t great.

The terrain was interesting enough along Trail 101 loop. The trails are not well marked, but it would be hard to get lost. There were A TON OF TICKS on my dog and I.

Good long trail, no incline, but it's unshaded. Bring plenty of sunscreen and water.

This is a nice little walk or area for trail running or biking. There are some beautiful views of downtown Spokane to start. The road is gravel/concrete and then the trail turns left into the woods which spits you back out near the beginning. There were still some really muddy spots you need to navigate. Also, wear bug spray!! Especially if you go in the late afternoon. It's mosquito heaven. Otherwise, a nice and easy stroll a close drive from town.

great trails but LOTS of ticks!!!

Very easy down and back that's great for families with even the littlest of kids in strollers. There is also a full loop trail thats right at 3 miles that is definitely for your older kids (7+),during the spring there are still some soggy and muddy places on the woods loop so keep that in mind. The map can be a little confusing because the trail isn't marked. If you are going to do the full loop, I suggest you start with the woods path to the left of the trail sign, that will help clear up the map confusion.

I was hiking with my 2 kids. The first bit was a nice little walk with amazing views. Wish we had stayed on that part. Once we were halfway through, the trail took a turn into the woods. I found it A bit swampy to navigate with small children. By the end of it, the kids were angry and eaten alive by mosquitos.

Would be nice if the trails on the south side of the main path were better labeled. Beautiful views at the trailhead. Main path quite exposed in warm weather. South side paths nice and shaded
