great workout yesterday. Trail is not as obvious from the Trailhead but there are a couple rocks at entrance indicating start of the trail. very quiet and not heavily trafficked... started at the trailhead at 7 AM..we reached summit at around 10AM with plenty of stops.. foggy day so views were not great..clocked 2 hrs on way down..lot was filled with cars when we got back.. will go back again on a clear day

Great water views. Not much in the way of grand views after that second waterfall lookout, but there are some nice switchbacks before grown-in paths if you do decide to keep going.

Nice trail that's close! Went yesterday (Wednesday), so wasn't crowded. Only issue is people need to stay on the trail and pack out their garbage. A Discover Pass is required, but there is a pay station at the trailhead.

Did this yesterday with my two boys and we had so much fun!!! So proud of them! The views were honestly soooo pretty and the trail was sooo cool!! Lots of little water spots, awesome big trees, and trail was well maintained. I loved it! The waterfall was awesome! We got to see people jumping off some of the points which was awesome!! This has a few spots that get your heart pumping decent work out! But overall easy enough for any skill level. Highly would recommend this trail and totally want to do it again.

Very beautiful falls and a well maintained trail. If you want to enjoy the nature go early. By 9am the parking lot got full.

Nice easy trail to some gorgeous falls! The distance is actually closer to 3 miles, the trail on the app leads you all the way to the John Wayne Trail connection. However, the last viewpoint is really on the bridge above the falls. Would definitely recommend! We went on a cloudy day instead of doing a hike with better views due to visibility and were not dissapointed.

Great for all ages !!

nice little trail with easy access from the parking lot by Rattlesnake Lake. but the first half the hike is on level gravel wide bike trail. So the elevation gain is all in the last mile so it's a lot steeper than a moderate hike. I would definitely rate this as hard. in fact it was probably about the steepest trail we ever did. But we took our time, made it to the top where the views very nice. just a few bugs and just a few people.

Nice quick and short hike close to Seattle. The falls are pretty impressive, especially the lower view point. Very busy on a Saturday morning, Lot was completely full with cars parked up the side of the road about 700 feet at 930 am. Hike itself is only about 1.5 miles to the falls and is fairly easy, with two small stretches of switchbacks. Looked to be a popular hike for families as it is quick and relatively easy. Best part is hanging out on the rocks near the river by the trailhead and letting our toddler splash in the water. Trail was VERY crowded but that’s to be expected on a Saturday morning.

Not a lot of people. Nice short trail. A little steep at first but don’t get discouraged. Barely a view but nice. Overgrown in some areas. Only a few bugs but appreciated other people’s comments to have bug spray. Shady. Less crowded than Rattlesnake Ledge. Park at the Education Center all day parking lot and walk along the no motorized vehicle trail/forest service road to avoid crowds at other trailhead.

This a delightful surprise. The trail was well maintained and in several areas there were stairs and some with railings. Part of the hike can become steep with lots of rocks and tree roots so you do have to be careful. This appears to be a much older forest. It seems more like a rain forest with all the decay, moss, and plants with huge leaves. Lots of ferns. The waterfalls at the end are spectacular. All in all, this hike is a winner

Slightly challenging hike as it is steep in some places. Super scenic. Usually a bit crowded on the weekends. Great little day hike.

Great little hike for families with lots of options to stop, turn around, or keep going. we saw lots of kids and dogs. we arrived midday on a weekday. the lot was pretty full but people we leaving and we got a spot near the outhouses. bring your Discover Pass or buy one at the trail head. we had a blast playing in the river when we returned from the hike.

Such a pretty trail with great views and the sound of a river the whole time!

Good up to half a mile above the falls. Nice trail run if you don’t mind stairs roots and rocks. The falls are worth it.
