Very short hike parts are steep but for the most part it's pretty easy. The view at the top is wonderful and because the hike doesnt take long you can do the others near by on the same day.

Great hike everything about it was beautiful. A lot of water running off, lakes, streams. It takes a couple of hours so plan it as a day hike. This hike is wonderful if you've done it once, you'll do it again it's that gorgeous.

I love it up there. I visit at least once a week because it is so quiet and peaceful. Not many visitors but there are so many trails to choose from you will never have to take the same route twice. There is a lot of shade and the views are excellent very easy hiking moderate hills.

Great hike..beautiful flowers

Starts off fairly easy walking a logging road slowly gaining elevation. Once you hit the hex mt. trail sign on the right, the Work begins. Fairly steep with Steady elevation gain for about 2 miles. Trail was decent most of the way up. Once you hit the top, the views are great!! Lots of bear tracks and plenty of deer to spot. Will definitely do it again when we’re in town.

Very nice hike! Reward views all over the hike) no shade, so plan to hike at partly clouded skies. Will recommend hike boots or any toe protected shoes. Elevation gain at some points is pretty dramatic, and one hard place. Well maintained territory around. Dog friendly. Huge parking. There are a lot of small hikes on the way so keep track of your trail. With taking photos, stops, extra 0.6 miles of hike it took 2 hours to come back.

it was easy on our bad knees but still gave us a bit of exercise. easy elevations was what made the knees be able to continue without any pain to speak of. and the wildflowers were gorgeous this time of year (May.)

Went on a colder rainy dry so the tunnel felt dry and slightly warmer then outside, perfect. Spooky at first but then loved it. Very cool experience. Only saw a few people, no bikers, most of the time we had the tunnel to ourselves.

Forest road is open! Snow on last two miles of trail to the lake

I love this trip, really got my heart pumping with switchbacks but worth it!

beautiful hike! took us just over two hours, and we ran most of the way down. beautiful views of leavenworth and the mountains and river! tons of wildflowers too! would recommend doing it in the morning to beat the heat.

Strong workout. Nice views at the top but nothing outstanding. Lots of fallen trees that are annoying if you like to walk at a steady pace. BUGS!!!!
We're glad we did it, but we'll not do it again.

Easy, beautiful half-day hike

Cool hike, forgiving. Fun views and close to town. Lots of people and dogs.

The trail was hard to read, I ended up turning back. I was not prepared enough. Thanks I did a recording to find my way back.

Great hike in May. No snow, but a little crowded. A lot of elevation gain and switch backs.

Had to hike 3 miles up the forest service road just to get to the trailhead, which tired us out and we couldn't reach the lake due to heavy snow packed on the trail passed the bridge half way through. I will definitely be back in a month or two I can only imagine how nice it will be up top!

Beautiful wildflowers and vistas throughout the trail. The fellow selling wine at the bottom of the trail was a great addition.

We started out early in the morning and it was truly beautiful. There are many switchbacks with great places to catch your breath. Arriving at the top showcase views which are amazing of Leavenworth Valley, Cascade Mountains and Wenatchee River. Worth every breath.

It was a stunning day up Ingall's creek. We hiked to Falls Creek the trail was in good shape the whole way. We did encounter a few blow downs but they were easy to go over. The wildflowers are starting to bloom, in a few weeks it will be gorgeous. We were lucky in the fact that we did not see any rattlesnakes!! I did not notice any bugs. Snow was not a factor for the hike as far as we went. We did see a lot of other hikers out enjoying the day as well. Just wonderful!!

We summited on May 5. Great hike until about 5k feet when the snow got pretty deep. You’ll want a downloaded trail map to find your way. Snowshoes and poles with baskets also a good idea. Bring lots of water, that last climb is a burner but well worth it.

Road to car park still covered with snow, but once you reach the car park the path become dry and view is great

I’m a heavy guy and decided to start dropping weight this year by walking and hiking. This new lifestyle change is eye opening for many reasons but for today it was the gorgeous views at the top (I took a right at the top to overlook Leavenworth). The trail was pretty crowded which was great for me since I had to stop all the time anyway so the extra stops were nice to catch my breath. An excellent experience. I’ll do it again.
