4 star hike with a 5 star view from the peak. Well maintained trail with nice views starting 500 feet below the pass and amazing views from the peak. Last half a mile from the pass to the peak is strenuous. Take the right at the split. Keep going right. Trail should be marked better as there are no signs of the trail that reference Navaho peak or pass. Main trail from the parking lot is called Stafford creek trail.

Great views. Wouldn't recommend for young children. My 8 yr old kept up fine but I wouldn't call it family friendly because of how steep it is.

Spectacular views but tons of trees down on the trail. Made for a slow-going Hike. Not very runnable.

Once you break off from where the trail splits with the Ingalls Pass trail it is a moderate incline up to Fortune Creek Pass. Mostly snow free all the way to the pass. A few feet of snow still remains halfway up the side trail to Lake Ann. Great views.

This was a good hike & pretty views. Tbeo switch backs are fairly steep - it was a bit of a challenge!

Nice hike, heard there was 20-30 tents up there sat night, sort of crowded, five out so still scattered about. Trail dry, ten hrs up and down, taking my time. Nice day.

One of the prettier hikes I've been on all the way through. Elevation gain was pretty gradual most of the way up. The meadows and wildflowers, views of the creek and mountain ranges couldn't be beat. Just a little sad we didn't get to see more wildlife.

Great! Went backpacking for two nights. Got nibbled on by mosquitos within the first mile. Trail follows along the water for the first few miles; nice views; lots of little stream crossings. We got rained on durring the final mile, but it dried out long enough for us to set up camp along the outskirts of the meadow. Cool rock formations, small waterfalls, meadows and pine trees.

Hiked up to the peak the next morning. Huge views; beautiful, warm sunny day. Poles are handy for the steep stretch and small snowfield at the very end.

The weather forecast was correct..it was a chilly night and we woke up to a little snow on the ground. However, the trip down was snow free and sunny.

snow free, gradual incline and beautiful view of the enchantments. Got a nice sunny day.

Great hike!
Starts out pretty easy, but definitely gets more steep towards the end (may be tough for people with creaky knees). It is well maintained and not toooo busy. The view at the top is totally worth it because you can see over the other side and the whole valley is below. Wouldn’t recommend in the rain (might get slippery). Would definitely do again!!

Great hike. Very scenic.

Beautiful hike. Relatively easy but got in 8 miles by hiking to the end of the lake and back. Nice day.

Absolutely amazing hike up. The whole way is scenic and Navaho peak is an believable 360 degree view with miles of mountains west to be seen, Rainier, and many more. If you do this do not stop at the pass. Go right and go straight up to the peak, challenging if you're going to the pass you may as well go all the way to the peak because the view is on a whole different level. Trail was in overall good shape. Road was fine, did it in a Toyota Corolla. Snow fields going up to the peak, we brought boots but we didn't even change out of our trail runners. Just bring an extra pair of socks and you will be fine. Saw a grouse, lots of chipmunks/squirrels and so many different species of birds including what I believe to of been a Western Tanager. Trail is long though, do not underestimate it. We clocked 14 miles round trip and we were on the trail for about 10 hours including stops and taking in the views for an hour or so. Honestly up to the pass wasn't all that hard, but up to the peak was the hardest of all but worth it. The trek back down takes a long time and now you're fatigued so it seems to go on forever. Plenty of water sources on the trail as of today, only brought two water bottles that I kept filling up. There were also plenty of wildflowers blooming. Again amazing hike if you're up for the journey!

... short hike and fully exposed but the incredible views of the Columbia River and a sprinkling of interesting rock outcrops , combined with several trails branching off to explore makes this a very worthwhile visit.

Beautiful hike.! The entire hike is along the river. Pretty easy with little elevation gain. Once you get to the road, continue to the right on the road and cut down to the trail to the lake. Wildflowers were out. Even met a horse on the trail!

Beautiful views of the Stuart Range and surrounding peaks (Rainier, Adams). Camped near the pass and hiked to the the peak in the morning. Windy at night so grab some rocks, poles are nice but no extra gear needed. Last mile is a leg burner - Great first backpack of the season!

Very short hike parts are steep but for the most part it's pretty easy. The view at the top is wonderful and because the hike doesnt take long you can do the others near by on the same day.

I love it up there. I visit at least once a week because it is so quiet and peaceful. Not many visitors but there are so many trails to choose from you will never have to take the same route twice. There is a lot of shade and the views are excellent very easy hiking moderate hills.

Very nice hike! Reward views all over the hike) no shade, so plan to hike at partly clouded skies. Will recommend hike boots or any toe protected shoes. Elevation gain at some points is pretty dramatic, and one hard place. Well maintained territory around. Dog friendly. Huge parking. There are a lot of small hikes on the way so keep track of your trail. With taking photos, stops, extra 0.6 miles of hike it took 2 hours to come back.

I love this trip, really got my heart pumping with switchbacks but worth it!

beautiful hike! took us just over two hours, and we ran most of the way down. beautiful views of leavenworth and the mountains and river! tons of wildflowers too! would recommend doing it in the morning to beat the heat.

We started out early in the morning and it was truly beautiful. There are many switchbacks with great places to catch your breath. Arriving at the top showcase views which are amazing of Leavenworth Valley, Cascade Mountains and Wenatchee River. Worth every breath.

I’m a heavy guy and decided to start dropping weight this year by walking and hiking. This new lifestyle change is eye opening for many reasons but for today it was the gorgeous views at the top (I took a right at the top to overlook Leavenworth). The trail was pretty crowded which was great for me since I had to stop all the time anyway so the extra stops were nice to catch my breath. An excellent experience. I’ll do it again.

Great spring with yellow daisies and some paint brush. Switchbacks all the way up. Tumwater Canyon, Leavenworth, and a 360 degree view at the top.

Don't let the short distance and little elevation gain fool ya. You're starting out at an elevation of around 6,000 feet so if you're not used to the altitude you will find yourself a little more winded. This trail was so beautiful and so much fun. I will definitely be going back!

Nice views at the top. Lots of switchbacks in the beginning with minimum views, Getting to the top is worth it.
