Beautiful, fairly easy trail with a great payoff at the end. Crowds were very minimal on a weekday afternoon.

Well someone posted it was steep two miles up at first. Well I’d have to say it was almost three and the last mile or so was not easy either. Snow at the top with great views. Saw a bear on the way down he was busy eating. It was a great day in all the bugs were annoying. But Bug spray took care of them. No shade on the last mile either. Take lots of water

HikingGreat!

Up to the glacier and back to the car in around 6 hours, with a 30 minute lunch break at the top. People were still driving up to get parking at 1PM when we got back to the car, get here as early as you can! The views continually get better the further you go up, it is definitely worth every step. We saw a baby mountain goat and it's mama, as well as pika and marmots (also tons of butterflies!). Take the time you need to fully enjoy this amazing hike. Lots of good pull off point to let people pass as well.

Views continuously get better to the end. Before you get to the final rock scramble the trail can get slippery as there’s a good amount of water runoff alongside it. And take you’re time on the rock scramble most of the smaller rocks are loose and not good targets for footholds.

Like others have said, first 2 miles along the creek are beautiful and peaceful. Plenty of places to pull off and hang by the water. Once you get to fork the incline picks up. Trail is well maintained and easy to navigate. Mostly woodland views along the way with the occasional window of the valley/peaks.

Does anyone know if Trail to Sahale Arm is open everyday? Last I heard it was only open Friday-Sunday.

Amazing scenery. Totally worth it. The last section leading up to the Camp (before the glacier) is pretty rough; it’s steep and the gravel is slippery. But make it as far as you can, because the views just get better and better as you climb.

after a Cascade pass, views get better the higher you go. helpful to have polls on the Rock scramble below camp. arrived at the lot around 9 ish and a lot was full with plenty of parking along the road.
