Great level trail for kids and older people as well and active people wanting a good stretch of the legs in a beautiful wooded setting. The bridge was out and a new one being built on the beaver loop, but there is a trail that goes around the bridge. We didn’t find it until a runner pointed it out to us though-it is not marked. The signs are a bit confusing on all the trails and we wound up hiking 3 miles for our “2 mile hike”. Would do it again now that I know where the correct trails are.

It’s a pretty standard, dirt road loop. Good for runners, dogs and cyclists. Take the Deer Fern trail from School Road to add a bit to it. There are plenty of trails that jut off from the loop that makes it more interesting.

Trail was good overall. There were quite a few bees on the trail to get to the loop so if you are going on spring just be aware of that. The loop itself was easy to do with three children (11, 8, and 6 years old). There are lots of off shoot loop trails that ar marked with their mileage which I thought was really a neat idea. You could feasibly do 8 or so miles if you did all the loops. I would do it again.

Great Trail with a easy to follow signage and great scenery. Lots of great loops.Prefect for the Benginner to Intermediate Hiker.

April 2019. Beautiful views! Great trail 'moderate to easy' hiking conditions. I took my 13 year old daughter and our two dogs, so its pet and kid friendly. We only did 4.5 miles of the trail. We may have to check out the other portion of the trail. There was a little trail confusion as it looks like newer paths have been carved out by hikers/bikers making new paths not on the map, but we found our way.

Terriffic trail!! Very clearly marked, clean trails and decent variety of spurs!! My wife and I took our 17 year old daughter, our 13 year old son and our 2 & 3 year old daughters and everyone did great!! Still a little chilly under the full canopy but well worth it for the sheer beauty!! We’ll be back for sure!

BEES BEES BEES !!!!!!!! lol overall very beautiful trail!

Our go to trail near the house. Always a nice hike and in great shape.

The signs can be a little hard to read on the trail, otherwise a nice walk in the woods.

Today was my first here and it was a great little hike. The trails were clear, except for a little horse poo, other than that I really enjoyed it. Trails were clearly marked and they weren’t overgrown, there was good balance of uphill and downhill but nothing difficult. I’ll definitely be back.

Got a little lost but managed! Easy loop, though still snowy and muddy in parts. Not a ton of shade for a good portion, so bring a hat on sunny days.

Great trail for anyone looking to get the dog out or enjoy a variety of forest / marshland hikes. Trails are well kept and are appear to be popular with hikers and bikers.

great area to hike. Signage could use some work. Also part of the trail was blocked of at the time so had to walk along the road to get back to the start.

took the dog here to explore the trail system, will say it's a nice area for walking the dog, will be back

forgot to review this when I was here about month ago, trail was nice but you can hear cars from road but still a nice walk in the woods

nice hike out past a lake with many animal's, bring a camera and watch the animals come out

This trail was great! it was generally easy and the trails were very well marked with names/distances. LOTS of side trails to check out if you have the time. in general, the trail is very shaded and dense forest all around. We loved it! I would recommend parking on the LH side once you turn onto Tieton Rd, across the street from the trail map. Follow the signs for "Deer Fern" and you will take that to the "Old Loop" trail.

From Flying Eagle to Bobcat Run to Fire Road then the Old Loop Trail and back took 1 hour 40 mins without really stopping. Very beautiful and well maintained trail. There are a lot of trail options once you get out to Fire Road and Old Loop Trail. Lots of parking at the trail head too.
