Really nice, flat trail. I ran this loop a couple times in the morning while camping at the lake. Part of the trail is along the side of Olga Rd, which is pretty busy, but the rest of the trail is very scenic.

Beautiful hike. Not a lot of elevation changes and a fairly clean path around beautiful views in all directions. Lots of vegetation. Very good moderate hike with concessions at the trail head.

This trail is nice because it’s a loop, so you see different views on the way down. The change in vegetation throughout the hike is really neat, too! We got no view at the top because it was very foggy that day (late September), which was a bummer because the switchbacks towards the top were not a breeze! Great way to enjoy the outdoors while visiting Orcas Island!

I don't think there's a single moment that doesn't have a beautiful view. Even the areas that move away from the Lake have gorgeous old growth and the paths are very picturesque. If you go clockwise, the dam at the very Southern point is a great spot to stop for snacks before heading back to the car.

a very easy and friendly hike. the area around the footbridge is gorgeous...we could have stayed all day. watch for the bald eagle that loves that area as hunting ground! he's a show off. ;)

Almost completely shaded on the way up through beautiful forest. Switchbacks are very steep. Tower at the top is super-cool. Amazing views.

Wonderful trail along the lake. Pretty easy. Only challenging section was along one side of the big Twin Lake Loop which looked like it saw a slide or two. It shares a popular trailhead so parking is at a premium. Fun times!

Wide trail, well maintained, not many rocks or tree roots. Lotsa deer.

Nice short waterfall trail. Best picture comes from crossing the bridge at the bottom of the stream after the falls and then rock hopping closer

Beautiful ‼️

We did a shorter out and back from Mt Constiution peak down to the twin lakes and back. 2 hrs total with a stop by the lake to admire the tadpoles and the views of the peak. Moderate hike, trail in excellent shape. Some traffic on a busy long weekend but even still, pretty light.

Nice and easy described this trail. Went clockwise. A few areas of switchback here and there. Going the other direction would have avoided that. Enjoy

Easy trail. Sunny day. Beautiful moss, old growth timber and small waterfalls along the same creek bed

we did the Mountain Lake trail 3.9 with our two dogs. Enjoyed the loop next to the lake.

Beautiful trail. Every spot of water was wonderful in its own way. You get a lot of the elevation over in the first couple miles. Then a tiny break until closer to the summit. When I hiked it, there was a ton of fog and it added a very exciting post apocalyptic element. The view at the top is so worth it, but let’s be real, two different fitness trackers clocked this puppy in at 9 from trailhead to peak and back. It’s not 8 something lol

Great loop, we went clockwise and really enjoyed getting the vertical behind us early.

We had a gorgeous spring evening and this was a perfect after dinner walk. Except for a park ranger and several deer we had the trail to ourselves. Most of the hike is relatively flat and close to the water, which is always pleasant. The east side of the hike moves up the hill into the trees so you lose some views of the lake, but overall this is a wonderful, relaxing hike.

Love this trail!! Started at Cascade Falls with off road parking under Moran State Park Arch. Well marked, clear with some patches of snow and ice. Enjoyed the beautiful waterfalls throughout the trail.

Feb 17, 2019: Microspikes would've been nice to have; we wish we hadn't left ours back home! The snow is not gone yet and looks like it be around for a while longer. While it's not impossible without, traction would be very helpful as the snow is trampled, smooth, and slick. This loop has multiple waterfalls which are nice but what makes this hike amazing are the numerous massive trees along the way.
