to much traffic..other than that not bad

Not a lot of cover - best not to go on a hot day. Otherwise smooth and straightforward.

Marymoor Connector Trail was boring, but the part along the water was absolutely lovely and shaded. Lots of variety from fields to paved bike path to woodsy trails on the edge of the water - great time for my dog. The trail cuts through the dog off-leash area, which is great with a dog, but something to be aware of for anyone who isn't crazy about dogs. Heads up to other dog owners still working on recall - this is not the off-leash area for you! It's completely unfenced and open to the rest of the park. I had to keep my dog on-leash otherwise there was no way I would get him back. If your dog has strong recall, this would be a total treat for them - lots of woods and fields, and a good group of well-behaved large dogs.

Best part of the trail was through the bird section - open fields and shaded woods filled with birds and their associated calls. Great water views and access. Well-used but not crowded.

Somewhat boring, but very well-maintained paved trail. Seemed to be mostly used by cyclists, would also be great for strollers or wheelchairs - very wide and smooth paved trail. Only con was that it's very exposed to the sun. Went with my dog, cyclists were very considerate and we mostly stayed on the gravel right on the side of the trail.

I go rollerblading here habitually, it's such a beautiful trail and when you are going from redmond to woodinville it's extra scenic... at places you feel in the middle of nowhere. the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the cyclists, many go far too fast regardless of the high traffic area signs. I average around 9-11 mph in my skates, the speed limit is 15 for the trail and some bikers seem to be going 3x that, and many fail to notify when they are passing, which has caused several close calls, even when I'm just walking.

Nice and relaxing this morning. Really easy, Sunday morning walk. Can be as long or as short as you'd like. Only annoying thing is the cyclists. Some are more respectful than others.

Great relaxing bike trail!

Great trail! I usually connect with this trail from Burke-Gilman in Bothell then ride it to Whole Foods, grab a snack and head back.

The only issue with this trail is some riders do not warn when passing, be careful! This trail can move fast.

Great scenery, close to local food if you like and plenty of places to break if needed.

This park pretty much has it all. Dog friendly, lots of space, beautiful views and easily accessible. Great place to go to get outside if you don't have time for a hike or if you just want to picnic and relax.

Busy, but easily accessible trail in Redmond. This trail links to the East Sammamish trail at the south end and to the Burke Gilman trail in Kenmore, making it useful for bike commuters.

peaceful trail to ride it was a bit congested in spots. lots of great scenery of the area some call wine country.

Tuesday, July 22, 2014

Great for roller blading. Benches and bathrooms along the trail as well. Follows the river the entire way, so sometimes you may run into bugs. Also, multiple parking areas so you can start any where along the trail.

Super easy trail, whether you're biking, walking, running... Great for kids! We typically did the portion between Kenmore and Woodinville, as that's all my then 8yo could muster, but we always had fun. Well maintained and eventually we'd like to try and get from Woodinville to the "end" of the trail down at Marymoor!

The scenery is stunning. There are many types of birds to watch. My husband and I saw a few bald eagles by the lake and, when we were there in mid-May, blue herons were nesting in the trees. The dog park is huge! Parking is $1.
