I thoroughly enjoyed this park and trail. I got distracted and went farther than the trail but that's okay. Its nice and quiet, wasn't too overpopulated (although i went today on a Wednesday at 10 am). There area couple things holding it back from receiving a 5 star though. 1 : There are equestrian trails zig zagging with the hiking trails, horses are NOT ALLOWED on the hiking trails, but of course, there's always those people that just dont care about anything but themseleves, and there was MANY spots I walked in that had horse ****. Not impressed by that. Some of the trail markers are not obvious and can easily be missed here too. This is a big place (1500 acres), so MAKE SURE you download a map to carry with you (i recommend several in case 1 gets wet and you don't have a laminator). Nothing too difficult but not exactly easy either. I recommend this no matter where you hikes but you NEED GOOD BOOTS WITH AWESOME TRACTION HERE! If not you are just asking to faceplant, break an ankle or fall on your tailbone. Most the sections are uneven, slippery, wet, muddy, leafy and quite rocky. So be prepared for that. Overall though it was a blast. I am going back again soon to try out other trails there. Thanks for reading my review. Hopefully it was helpful.

So much fun! First time Mountain Biking and this trail had everything on it I wanted to learn, roots, rocks, downhill, uphill! I had to walk my bike up a couple hills but I’m looking forward to using this trail more to gain some skills. Awesome trail!

Fun hike with the kids today. We went all the to temple pond and back. Special thanks to Evan W. Robert's and troop 43 for his Eagle Scout project. We rested on a bench with his name on it and appreciate all the work he and his troop did to enhance this trail.

Absolutely loved this trail. Fall day with gorgeous leaves. Perfect temp. Trail was muddy in places but not a problem. Good variety of scenery. Trails are well maintained.

Gorgeous thick woods, a few ponds, and a variety of trail types. Since I'm was on foot, I decided to use the hiker only Midway Footpath (not on app map) to Viewpoint. While the bike and horse paths are easy to follow, the foot only trails were covered with leaves and difficult to follow. For more trail options, go to the Lord Hill Park's website and download their map.

Super cute trial! Wasn’t too hard and we even saw a little snake. A little muddy but nothing too bad, definitely would recommend!

Nice moderate trail. Took our 2 tweens and 2 dogs. Ended up putting our little white dog in our back pack because it was extremely muddy. Good climbs to get heart up. Lots of rocks and roots. Definitely need to watch your step. Fun day.

Good trail to break in

It was beautiful and peaceful. trail is pretty narrow at times. Not well maintained but my kids enjoyed the adventure.

Great hike - the “Record” feature on All Trails was so helpful. There are a lot of small side trails and the GPS feature really helped us stay on the trails we wanted

Really awesome trail. I can’t wait to come back and complete the full loop and see the water.

There is no lake!

Good hike, nothing really special or remarkable. You gotta share the space with other hikers, joggers, mt. bikers, and horse riders so don't expect any privacy … or quiet. River is really rocky, not a great place to take off your shoes and get wet. Nice place to break for lunch. I recommend downloading the map .. there are LOTS of trails and it's easy to make the wrong turn.

I would say 70% well groomed the other 30% is a bit Rocky and Hilly but if you’re a trail runner this is an excellent option . I found you could get all the mileage you want out of this park . 15 mile run? No problem..... I was entertained the whole route seeing different terrain ,ponds , it made for an excellent run.

Great trail. Lots over overhanging trees with moss and you can still see remnants of the giant trees that once stood. I would however rate this trail as easy given the minimal elevation change.

watch out for any singletrack, as there are stinging plants and blackberries.

Trail to begin with was perfect! Took my two dogs (1 year old Lab and 3 year old Husky) and they had no problem doing this hike. One downfall however was on the way back we took the left route that took us to “Wishbone” after wishbone it was some sort of cut through that was VERY over grown with lots of blackberry bushes and logs you cannot see underneath. Other than this little discrepancy in the trail, it was fairly easy and beautiful! DO NOT GO DOWN WISHBONE AND OFF TRAIL LIKE THE MAP SAYS TO!!!

This was fun! We took our 4 and 6 year old. The trail was a bit overgrown, but it made it more fun. We had to climb over some trees, but it was no problem. I appreciated the former reviews, because we had taken sticks with us to help clear the path. It led us to the river, where we were all able to swim. We didn’t see anyone else on the trail. We were a bit confused about how to find the lake. At the very beginning when you get down the hill, there is a trail that veers to the left. If you take that, the lake is about 3 minutes in. I probably wouldn’t swim in the lake. It’s pretty small and swampy. The river was great though! We did see animal tracks and droppings that looked like they could have belonged to a cougar.
