Lake Chelan State Park is a 127-acre camping park on the forested south shore of Lake Chelan. The park has 6,000 feet of shoreline, lakeside views and expansive lawns for strolling and playing. The park gets an annual average rainfall of 11 inches. Summer tends to be hot and dry. Annual average snowfall is 42 inches.

My 4 year old did this no problem and I carried my 6 month old without much of a sweat! Good views

Really nice gentle hike. Took our senior dog and he enjoyed it. Trail is narrow with plant life trying to overtake it but overall is well maintained. Some lovely views of the lake as well. Really enjoyed this hike.

Saw lots deer, and nature at its best.

We did this today as part of the park system’s Hike First campaign on the first of the year. It was an interesting trail in the snow! I have done it in the summer and didn’t find it as intriguing. The trail map does show how to add an extra loop extending it about another mile. We wore boots but you could also use skinny snow shoes.
