Good for lovers of hiking. Some of it has been majorly logged and sometimes the left-behind timber gets in the way but the obstacles add adventure!

Great Hike! We did 7.3 miles, mostly on the road, but there were some trails through the woods. Great views of the valley below. Interesting area where sea shells and sand dollars cover a field when you start and end the hike. I’ve never seen anything like it. Whole sand dollars! Weird! We enjoyed the brisk morning.

The south/east side of the lake has been logged somewhat recently which has pretty much ruined that side of the lake in terms of accessing roads/trails. The downed trees make it nearly impassable. Aside from that, there are some good views. If I go back I am going to stick to the west/north side of the lake.

Wonderful hike.
