Quiet, plenty of shade, and my husband was able to walk it after having lower back surgery 5 weeks ago! We will be doing that trail again. :)

Highly recommend this trail! If you’re into rock climbing, there are tons of routes and options. You can’t park where google maps takes you when opened through the app, but there is plenty of signage for the proper parking. Adds a little bit to the hike distance-wise, but not too bad. Trail was dry and well maintained. Not too busy (went around 10am on a Monday). The parking lot was definitely filling up when we left the trail around noon, so probably best to arrive early!

LOTS OF BIKERS! So watch out for them.. but there are a lot of trails to choose from. The trails I would say are more a moderate hike than an easy as its mostly uphill to start. Its a beautiful hike and has rewarding views. I will be doing this cluster of trails often ❤

It was more of a walk than a hike. I was hoping to see some wildlife and scenery but I wasn’t able to find the right trails. There weren’t many signs and thanks to this app, I would’ve been lost. I walked in nice shaded trails but not what I was looking for. My advice is not to go alone on your first time. Go with someone who knows the trails. If you’re a solo hiker like me, check the maps many times before heading there. Sunscreen, water and bug spray. All in all, I would say it wasn’t a bad “first time” experience.

Very busy with people. Lots of horse and dog poo. Otherwise, it was a beautiful hike.

Beautiful hidden gem of a trail. With views that are incredible! Lots of interesting terrain, clear trails, and pretty flowers along the way!

Well I must say, this was a challenge for me. I’m just starting out so when I saw that it was marked “easy” I was excited. Well I’m going to say that it’s “moderate” for this mom! Lol... it was beautiful but it was definitely uphill and I made it halfway! I’m for sure making it my goal to reach the top! Lots of mosquitoes too!!!

pleasant right from the start. trail head is only 10 minutes from my home. newly finished parking area. natural but we'll maintained trails. 50% treed, 50% open meadows with great views. moderate due elevation gains.

Well maintained trail. Make sure you take water! The views from the Rocks are stellar. Watch out for the mountain bikers who blast downhill.

Definitely doing this one routinely in the future. Had no idea these trails existed. (...maybe my daughter mentioned something about hiking trails south of us...) Definitely go. You’ll see all the other smart people around that know about this area of trails.

I love this trail. The grass is so green right now and there are wild roses that smell AMAZING. Be aware that there are ticks and mosquitos out. And the new trailhead parking lot is great.

Well maintained, beautiful views at the top! It is a popular trail, so there are crowds.

This is a nice series of trails, but the area is really close to the city. It's hard to escape the traffic noise, and the vistas are all apartment complexes.

Fun hike! Definitely felt myself checking our map often as there are a lot of confusing parts where the trail splits off multiple times. Really beautiful scenery and great for all size dogs!

Awesome trail

nice trail

Nice variety of open views and dense forest. Good vertical in a short hike.

This is a very pretty area situated in the middle of a whole bunch of private property. I was walking on a trail, then all of a sudden I stumbled upon a new housing addition, so I had to turn around and go back the way I came. This a a pretty trail to hike if you don’t want to go very far or take too long because most of the trails lead to people’s houses.

Had a lot of mosquitos when we went but is still one of my favorites.

don't forget the mosquito repellant.

This is such a hidden gem! The trail was lightly trafficed with stunning views of spokane. Close to the south hill neighborhoods but a nice hike. I saw lots of bitterflys, birds, and even a white tail doe. The trail is marked with white arrows on the ground so look for those to keep you on the trail. There are lots of places where you can get off trail. I will definatly be back.

signs need work. overall, decently maintained trail. nice vistas on the back side
