easy trail...some steep steps but enjoyed time in the beach!

Well maintained trail and provides some amazing views of downtown Seattle, the olympics, and more.

great walk in May. cool weather is perfect for it

Nice walk with great views of the Sound. Not exactly roughing it here with all the benches, markers and paved roads you have to cross, but you'd never guess you were only 20 minutes from downtown Seattle.

You'd never know you were within Seattle, great place to get lost for awhile.

Great walk for being in a large city ! Excellent views

favorite trail by far

Beautiful trails! Saw a family of seals swim off the shore, enjoyed the sunshine, met some awesome folks (and pups) throughout the day. Easy parking, and you can take the bus there too!

Great easy trail with nice views and some spots to stop for a picnic.

Go to place for an easy walk for my pups!

This is a neat, well-maintained loop. The western section offers picturesque views of the bay, beach, and lighthouse.

Beautiful, easy hike that makes for a lovely weekend stroll. Bring the kids or a dog and enjoy change of scenery as the trail goes from woods to coastline beach. Some areas were a tad muddy for walking shoes, and the area by the lighthouse can get windy in the winter.

Dog friendly on leash or dog off leash with excellent use of verbal commands. Most of the time in the fall there is plenty of space for everyone on the trail especially during the weekdays. Crowds during weekend.

Easy trail to walk if you're going down to the lighthouse, a little more moderate going back up. There are well-kept trails and very nice views. The only drawback is the sewage treatment facility that sometimes makes a really foul odor, but it's worth seeing at least once.

Nice hour long hike. There's cool viewpoints but a lot of side trails that aren't marked.

My girls and I love this park and like the many trails it has to offer.

Had some beautiful views, but it wasn't completely wheelchair accessible.

easy walk. nice view on the lake and lighthouse on the middle of the loop.
i recommend!

A workout! The south beach trail is definitely not wheelchair accessible with lots of steps. But in some places the trails are very accessible. Views are stunning. The lighthouse
/sound is a nice halfway rest. Great rewards!!

This hike is easy to moderate. Along the way you can pick blueberries and raspberries. To get to the West Point Lighthouse take the hidden valley trail. There is descending of stairs on the way to the lighthouse, be careful to watch your step because some of the steps are warn down (made of wood) and nails. As well, there is a distinct smell from the treatment plant when getting close to the lighthouse.

Wonderful views of the Puget Sound! Definitely going to be a return visitor!

Beautiful scenery of The Sound and Olympics, even Rainier. You'll spot tons of creatures from birds to sea life. Great for spring and summer outings. I love that this is such a walk-able city!

Outstanding views of the Puget Sound & Olympics.

A nice shaded trail, nice for a walk, contains some small stream. I went mainly to take photos of the lighthouse, unaware about this trail :)
