Though this trail is probably better experienced on bike, I enjoyed the out and back walk. I combined the entire length of this hike with the Steigerwald National Wildlife Refuge walk, making for a fairly long round trip at a fast pace. The river and gorge views were especially enjoyable. It was cool to see Crown Point and the Vista House from a new long distance perspective. Back to bikes though, keep in mind that the nature trail connected on the east end does not allow bikes, running or dogs since it is a wildlife refuge. Unfortunately the dike trail was completely flooded, so I didn't get to explore that cool feature.

Nice, easy trail with beautiful surroundings.

Great for walking the dog, going for a jog, or if you live in the neighborhood. Coming from Portland, this is not a scenic walk I will make an effort to travel again.

Nice and easy with great views.

It was really pleasant and the land bridge is gorgeous.

you walk right past the water sanitation facility and then later a long the walk next to the transfer station. Other than that's pretty cool lots to see right outside the city.

Basically a walkway on the top of the dyke. Nice views of the Columbia and easy for a dog walk. No shade so hard in heat. Very flat with industrial park on one side.

Great place to run with the dog!

Some great views and easy access, but have to trek past open sewage puts. The stink is horrific.
