Decent trail to get out of the house. Very Anti-climactic... the falls was definitely smaller then I thought, and there was LOTS of horse poop on the trail. Still a good walk.

Pretty forest with openings here and there with the occasional view of surrounding hills. Decent signage on the trail, poor signage in the trailhead parking lot. Great length for a day outing. Took us just over three hours. Trail was slippery in places with packed dirt from rain earlier in the week. Would do again and better than some other trails. Not as much elevation gain and views like I prefer on the I-90 corridor.

Only crossed 2 motor bikes in last half mile. trail to summit not marked once hit the road where the all trails dots also stop. well maintained until then. overcast today so plenty of shade but probably a nice mix when sunny. views are more on return, through the tree breaks. summit anti-climactic. good choice for us today given trail surface and location. we wanted a summit but didn't have the oopmh for any tougher uphill today.

Was not a fan. It was good exercise for the day and the climb was not particularly strenuous. WATCH OUT for the wasps at the base of the falls. They were angry and we were stung. There is horse riding on this trail and lots of droppings to watch out for. The surrounding woods are still recovering from logging disturbance so it’s not the most serene destination. The water quality at the falls appears to be suffering as well. Too bad...

There are bees at the falls and the water was low. But trail was a good easy walk just to be outdoors for a few hours.

Loud from shooting range.

Great trail except for the horse droppings.

Very disapointed, drove an hour and a half to check out the amazing falls.... didnt like the shooting range it was very distracting to my healing process. also didnt like the fact that the whole trail was covered in horse poop. Also again we had to search for the falls and it was disapointing exspecially after we found it we were attacked by a nest of killer bees. It may seem funny but it wasn't. overall will not be back ever

Disappointed that there was no mention there is a shooting range next to the trail. The constant gunfire spooking the animals didn’t lend itself to a relaxing hike for the first half mile. There was a great deal of horse poop on the trail and the path is quite narrow. After hiking 1.5 miles, there was no sign of waterfalls or any water so we turned back. Was disappointed overall.

This is a nice little hike. A beautiful falls. It is definitely correct mileage wise my phone clocked it at 1.8. Shaded with sunlight peeking through the forest.

hike was good but it did not have any good sights. If you are looking for good sights this is not the one. Parking was just to the side of the road. Did not encounter a lot of ATV's.

The trail was good and well kept. I gave it three stars because both my girls and my dog got stung and it was a 2+ mi hike back to our car.

If you have a horse, you should do this hike. Otherwise, the constant sound of gunfire from the nearby range and heaping piles of horse poop don't exactly exude the feeling of escaping to nature

I would say that even though this is rated as easy, due to some spots of incline it is a good mix of easy and moderate for the trail length. The beginning of the trail is gorgeous and provides shade (which was a bonus on the way back when my hiking buddy and I were struggling with the incline. The bonus at the end is def the creek and falls. It was a wonderful spot to take pics and enjoy a small snack before heading back. Trail is clean and not heavily trafficked. There was one couple already at the falls when we arrived and we passed another family on the way back. Very peaceful!

Not a bad trail for horses, nice and full of hills if you’re looking to get your pony in shape

A great trail to view the prehistoric mounds created by Mimathons, a long extinct Giant population. Local springs provided a natural source of water for these colossal humanoids, while an abundance of wildlife and vegetation aided in sustenance. Trees that once stood 400ft tall were uprooted during mating rituals, and these mounds were made by Mimathons to bury the smell of excrement on their pristine prairie. Enjoy the views, freedom fire, expansive skyline and prehistoric poop piles

Trail sucks if you're hoping to take your jeep down it. It's just wide enough for ATVs.
