Good hike with the dog, but this is definitely an ATV trail first - very rocky, exposed roots, etc. If you have weak ankles, maybe skip this one. Otherwise, was a fine walk. No animals sited on 11-05-2019.

Really easy trail. It was a nice nature walk and the falls were a nice place to stop for a snack. Recommend for all ages. Dog friendly.

Super loop with great elevation. trail is in fantastic shape.

I’d say the only way this is a moderate hike is the distance?

Decent trail to get out of the house. Very Anti-climactic... the falls was definitely smaller then I thought, and there was LOTS of horse poop on the trail. Still a good walk.

Not a bad loop for hiking but a much better mountain bike trail.

Was not a fan. It was good exercise for the day and the climb was not particularly strenuous. WATCH OUT for the wasps at the base of the falls. They were angry and we were stung. There is horse riding on this trail and lots of droppings to watch out for. The surrounding woods are still recovering from logging disturbance so it’s not the most serene destination. The water quality at the falls appears to be suffering as well. Too bad...

There are bees at the falls and the water was low. But trail was a good easy walk just to be outdoors for a few hours.

Loud from shooting range.

Great trail except for the horse droppings.

Very disapointed, drove an hour and a half to check out the amazing falls.... didnt like the shooting range it was very distracting to my healing process. also didnt like the fact that the whole trail was covered in horse poop. Also again we had to search for the falls and it was disapointing exspecially after we found it we were attacked by a nest of killer bees. It may seem funny but it wasn't. overall will not be back ever

Disappointed that there was no mention there is a shooting range next to the trail. The constant gunfire spooking the animals didn’t lend itself to a relaxing hike for the first half mile. There was a great deal of horse poop on the trail and the path is quite narrow. After hiking 1.5 miles, there was no sign of waterfalls or any water so we turned back. Was disappointed overall.

hike was good but it did not have any good sights. If you are looking for good sights this is not the one. Parking was just to the side of the road. Did not encounter a lot of ATV's.

The trail was good and well kept. I gave it three stars because both my girls and my dog got stung and it was a 2+ mi hike back to our car.

If you have a horse, you should do this hike. Otherwise, the constant sound of gunfire from the nearby range and heaping piles of horse poop don't exactly exude the feeling of escaping to nature

Not a bad trail for horses, nice and full of hills if you’re looking to get your pony in shape

When you're on the last leg of the trail, you'll come across a fallen tree and bushes that cover the trail. Don't turn around! You can easily climb over the tree and step on and over the overgrown bushes to get back on the trail. We saw some fellow hikers that turned around and warned us but we're so glad we took the chance and kept going. It's a great hike other than the horse shit along the trail.

Beautiful gem in the middle of harvested forest. Lots to crawl and explore. Would swim but it was too cool when I went.

Just a reminder, the falls are at that day camp bench area! We thought it was at the end of the Mima West Trail. They dont make it super clear that they are.
