Great workout.

It's a nice hike in town that can help you stay in shape. It's not that great of a view from the top, so if you don't live in Tri-Cities I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to do this hike. On a clear day you can see the tops of Mt Rainier and Mt Adams.

This is one of my keep in shape trails. It is the first trail developed on Badger Mountain and is the steepest of the trails.
It's a very popular trail. I avoid the trail on weekends because of the trail width and the number of people on it.

view is great!

Saw the eclipse! Was beautiful out.

Moderate climb with some great views of the Tri-Cities but zero protection from sun or wind on those lovely days we have here!

Pretty nice views. No shade at all. Worth it if you're in the area, but wouldn't recommend going out of your way for it.

THE local hiking trail. Steep going up the front, and at the top you get a wide reaching view of the tri cities on one side of the "mountain" and vineyards and farming on the other. Crowded in the mornings, but you should avoid midday when its hot. Many people run this one. Can be done in an hour at a leisurely pace but still a great workout. It may be over hyped by the locals, but the local love is what makes it special. Locals worked really hard to raise money to buy this land to protect it from residential developers and they're proud of it. Salty reviews are likely people who refuse to see the natural beauty of the desert - if its not green, they don't care.

I love badger mountain!!
The front side is somewhat steep but a great workout with amazing views of the Tri cities when you reach the top
One of my favorite trails in Tri cities

pack light , avoid hottest part of day.

This was a fun morning hike! We took our two elderly dogs and they did just fine. The climb up was a bit of a challenge for them, but the climb down was great!

frequent this trail with my Labrador, great walk/ hike!

Loved this hike! Don't stop at the top of the steep side, it is a loop!! Wonderful and beautiful!

after hiking gorgeous trails in southern Utah, Colorado and Arizona, I was deeply disappointed in this trail. every person who spoke to me about this trail at work, and the group formed to regularly hike it, promoted it with such enthusiasm and excitement that I was looking forward to my first hike on Badger Mountain. first of all, there was nothing of natural beauty to enjoy, only a man made park at the foot of the mountain; secondly, there where so many people hiking it, it was too crowded; plus, many had turned it into a race rather than an exploratory hike. The trail consisted of brown desert dirt, some sagebrush, the rare pretty rock or small cluster of tiny wildflowers, if you searched carefully. This trail has been excessively over-hyped and promoted by the residents of this area. It's as if people here have never hiked a real nature trail before!

Great local trail, avoid during peak hours. Create your personal difficulty by speed & stride. Great for a quick outdoor cardio burst.

It's close by making is a good hike if you can't travel but not a lot to look at and pretty crowded.

A perfect morning hike! Very popular, views in all directions. My Fitbit clocked 3miles round trip and 770 elevation gain.

I was out in the area coming from Utah and I asked all the locals I knew what would be the best area for hiking/ trail running. This was everyones pick and I can see why. This is a very well maintained trail that is wide enough for the amount of traffic that uses it. I went to the top from one side to the other and back to the loop trail. It was a great time of the year to do it. The River and the Vineyards add to the beauty of this run. I would say this is a great place to come if you are visiting the Tri-City area

Good for trail running, can get extremely crowded. Not much to see, but great for getting into shape for the season.

Great place to run, my only complaint is mountain bikes are allowed and some of the trails are it is not always a peaceful hike/run when having to constantly watch for a mountain biker to come up on you. Too many people for my liking in spring/summer but in the winter (especially if it snows) you have the trail to yourself!
