This park slopes down to Anderson Lake which has an abundance of wildlife and is a great place to go bird watching. Recreational activities also include: hiking, picnicking, fishing, and boating (non-motorized). Note: Summer Hours: 8 AM to Dusk. This park is CLOSED during the winter months (November to March.) Anderson Lake may also be closed due to toxic algae issues. Make sure to check with the Jefferson County Public Health on more information about the lake.
