Description

Alta Lake State Park is a camping park that features the desert and mountainous pine forests. Nestled between Winthrop and Lake Chelan, this park is popular for recreational water activities which include: boating, paddleboarding, waterskiing, windsurfing, and fishing. The trout at Lake Chelan are abundant during the summer months! Visitors can also go camping, hiking, wildlife viewing, and go golfing at the 18 hole course located within the park. Note: Summer Hours are from 6:30 AM to 10 PM. This park is CLOSED during the winter months (November to March.)
