Description

Situated in the far southwest corner of Virginia, Wilderness Road State Park offers trails, picnicking, nature tours, and historical resources. The nine mile Wilderness Road Trail is open for walkers, cyclists, and horseback riders. This trail connects to more than 50 miles of trails in Cumberland Gap National Historical Park. There are other shorter trails in the park, offering excellent views of Virginia's rolling forested hills. Pets are allowed in the park on a leash. There are some primitive campsites at the park as well.
