adventure racing all over here today. The first trek and the second was at Meadowood Area

There are quite a few areas with down trees but the trail is marked really well and the dog loves jumping over the fallen logs so it just makes it a little more challenging. I love following the water and we went on a beautiful breezy day.

This is a nice easy trail, they updated the trails here and now you can choose to continue onto the red trail for an even longer loop. Probably gets a little crowded on the weekend. Seems like it would be good for trail running as its very well maintained.

The long red route measured out at 4.1 mi. Pretty well marked with red metal blazes or red paint. Only iffy spot was at Camp Wilson where blazes stopped. Just walk straight down entry drive and you’ll pick up red blaze 200 yds down on your right. Second half is along water, wide and flat, first half is narrow trail thru woods and flat.
