Well maintained, clearly marked and lovely scenery. Plan on returning.

The view from the top can not be trumped!!

We hiked this today, clockwise. It was not a difficult trail at all although rocky at times. There were several creek crossings, some that would require wading if there had been much rain. We enjoyed the moss covered trails and the occasional view. It was chilly and breezy on the ridge ~3 miles in and there were a couple of nice views. Enjoyable trail. Would like to do it in the spring/summer next time.

It's a beautifully maintained trail through a lovely forest. It was nice to find a delightful picnic area by the stream and brochures for kid activities. There were plenty of clean restrooms and clearly marked trails. We plan to return soon.

I enjoyed the trails and campsite 2 with my sister and mother. The site has quick access to pit toilet, trash , fire ring with wood and creek for water. You can walk in quickly or take the longer way around. Nice for first time backpacker .

Hidden gem near Wytheville. Multiple trails to choose from. I went counter-clockwise on the Boundary Trail and took the 1.7 mile spur trail up to high rocks around mile 5. Only passed 1 person the entire 12 miles. Multiple campsites and 3 bathrooms. Trails are clearly marked. View from high rocks perfect spot for lunch. Nearly stepped on a rattlesnake coming down the spur trail so be careful where you step.

Wonderful walk in woods. Trail rocky but doable.

I logged 12.1 miles on this hike that included hiking up the spur trail to high rocks and back. Very surprisingly secluded area. Trail was good. The views with the piece and quiet were amazing.

Trails are pretty nice. Just a little muddy from the snow a few days ago. Everything is marked very well so you shouldn't get lost.

Hiked this trail many times, recently and years ago when it was first made and full of roots and stumps. Trail has much improved from use. Not sure why it is just now becoming visible on this app but happy it finally has!

Trail is fairly new and is rough and unlevel with areas of exposed roots and rocks. It has been connects into the trails of Crystal Springs Recreation Area. Hiking the Boundary Trail and this trail will give you near 12 miles if parked at the parking area off of Pump Hollow Road.
