Great easy trail if you’re not looking for very. Dog friendly, horses, bikers, busy on weekends.

One of the best local hikes. Beautifully wooded and shaded at the beginning and end. There are also spectacular views of the Oquirrh & Copper Mountains and the South Valley in the middle. It’s a little rocky in the middle section as well, but overall a nice moderate hike.

Good hike, easy and little shade on the way back. Took my three dogs, they enjoyed it. I would do not again as an easy day hike. It gets hot on one side of the trail so early morning or late afternoon is best.

Good trail for the workout hike. Go left at the head of the trail instead of right, Steep incline for a mile and a half up levels out and then you have 2 miles down hill.

Fairly dusty and exposed trail. The kids liked playing in the creek the trail follows. The shady side of the loop had some cool areas to explore like the little tree branch "cave".

Nature trips

Not a busy day just a few people and I mean it ( only 3 people on the trail). Trail was wide and easy to walk . I saw a couple of rest areas along the way. Also bikers and horseback riding can use this trail. ( hours of use 6 am- 10 pm)

The South side of this looped hike is perfect. Shaded, serene, small babbling brook running by, and more of a traditional hiking trail. The North side of the loop is more like a dirt road next to the brook. Watching the sunrise while driving down the small canyon after the hike was also lovely. Simple local hike.

Not a well marked path, so it’s confusing if you are doing this one or yellow fork canyon. The end point was just a couple picnic tables- you could have kept going. It was pretty well shaded, just lots of forks in the road so not sure which way to go- they forks cross over and come back together.

The key to this hike is looking at the all trails map and noting that there are many trails through these hills and each trail has vastly different terrain. When facing the trails from the parking lot the trail to the left or east takes you on top of the mountains (no shade, desert hike, steep with great views). The trail in the middle that starts with the bridge takes you through a shady canyon by a stream (at times) and at the end of May there were lots of flowers. The 3rd way you could go, far right looks to be a road that you can walk along that leads to picnic trails, and has some shade. If you start on one path, you can easily switch to another, as there are lots of trails that cut between the main three paths. *** note this trail is the left most trail that goes across the hill tops. It is longer, steeper and there is not much shade.

My family loved this hike! Parts of it were so green shaded and filled with flowers while other parts were more desert with great views. If you want something a little greener try the middle trail.

If you live by this trail it’s a nice little walk but really nothing special at all. I’d say this little loop is not worth anything more than a 10 minute drive.

Loved this one! Very shady with lots of little areas to explore. Lots of horse poop today. There are some picnic tables right towards the end of the loop.

This was a great hike for a hot day! Plenty of shade 90% of the way. There are a lot of side trails, so we kinda got lost, and I’m not actually 100% sure what trail we actually ended on. I backpacked my three year old and my awesome 6 year old was a champ and walked it. We did see a few snakes! Also, I read that it is busy, but we got lucky and only saw two other groups along the way.

Beautiful hike! Not really meant for a stroller. We have a jogging stroller that worked fine but some of the trail was pretty narrow and rocky. We took a route that worked fine but I think the main trail would be better for a baby carrier.

Another beautiful Sunday hike!! Crowded today. Everyone seems to be hitting the trails with the stay home orders and everything else closed down! Dang COVID-19!!
