I love this hike! It’s mostly shaded. It is a steep incline most of the way, but there are beautiful views at the halfway and the top! A great workout

This was a great hike with some cool caves at the end. We went about 6:00pm and there were quite a few people on the trail. The temperature was perfect though. It was a very well maintained trail and not too steep.

I went on a Wednesday afternoon & was clearing cobwebs! Lots of butterflies & it runs right along the stream. I did encounter a few deer flys further along the trail.

Great hike, watch out for juvenile rattlesnakes on the trails. Saw 4 on June 19th.

Beautiful hike!! Gorgeous views, the flowers are popping out everywhere and very well maintained. Only sad the Falls weren’t as big due to our warm winter.

I love this hike. Trail is pretty easy to follow. Good workout. Lovely view. Towards the ends you have to deal with lots of rocks.

I do this trail a few times a year. Nice and shaded areas but pretty steep.

We arrived to the hot springs at around 6:40 am and had it all to ourselves until about 7:30 am, it was amazing! We definitely lucked out because as we were hiking out around 8:45 there were a few people at the falls and we passed by several coming down. Got crowded pretty fast. I would recommend going early, I couldn't imagine getting in those hot pots when it was hotter in the day. Also one thing, be prepared for the sulfur smell, I was surprised, it's strong but once you get to the springs, it settles down, But overall, I LOVED the hike, and can't wait to do it again.

One of best hikes I have ever done in Utah

Started at 22nd st trailhead to the other and back. Should have shuttled but only had one vehicle. Confusing part when past the emergency shelter, remember head left. Took 4 hours round trip.

The first mile is paved but pretty. We turned left at the fork which may not be the official trail head. It takes you past two more homes. You enter the trail at the end of the street on the left side of the red cabin.

The trail is beautiful and meanders with the river. It was overgrown but not crowded at all. It is a pretty steep hike at times, so be prepared to huff a bit.

The trail leads to an overlook and you can keep going up to the left. It took us about 1 hour and 20 to get to the overlook, including the paved section. Really gorgeous hike! I also snowshoed here and it was fun!

City Creek is perfect for a progression workout if you’re a runner. The 3 miles of 600ft gain is manageable enough to run the entire way out. And you’re rewarded with a fun 3 miles back screaming down the canyon! Paved and very nicely shaded

Pretty easy hike, although the hike up to the peak was a little rocky and a tad more difficult than I was expecting but it was still relatively easy! Beautiful views and incredibly pretty wildflowers along the trail!

Hike up in about an hour. The turn off to the falls is easy to miss. Look for the ledge with the black rope.

On the return I kept heading up the mountain where there are two logs to cross the stream. From there don't go up the hill, but take an immediate left, and return on the Lake Hardy trail. The trail is poorly marked, so you'll definitely need a GPS and map.

Loved this hike, most of it is shaded so it’s great mid day! Amazing view points so plenty of pit stops if you need a break(: My dogs loved it, a river runs by at the half way point and a waterbowl is set up at the end; that was great! Worth trying just make sure to be prepared for a straight incline hike.

Family perfect hike. I proposed to my wife here!

great trail, mostly paved, access to parks and recreation areas. the falls look great and catch the sun rise beautifully.

Enjoy this trail and let it take you places.

First half is nice. Second half is really overgrown. Walked through some grenery which resulted in some allergic reaction in my arms and legs, but not my daughter. 90% in the shade, and parallels water, so cool in temperature.

If you are an experienced hiker you will find this a pretty easy hike. The only significant elevation is at the beginning and then as you descend to the lake then ascend back. My GPS tracked exactly 4 miles to the lake with a little campground exploration. The views are stunning, birds singing everywhere, but really, if you lived in a place like this, you'd sing too!
We back packed in and it took 2 hours with several stops for pictures, a blister first aid, and drinks. Busy trail but except for the horse poop, it's very pristine. Hikers are taking care to keep it clean. If you come later in the evening on a weekend you might have a hard time finding a camp spot. We arrived at 6:30 and there were several to choose from. We saw only two other groups. But by dusk the place was packed.
Really no firewood unless you go hunt for it and even then a hatchet will be your friend. We found plenty, but it took four of us to go search away from the area both night and morning.
Hardly any bugs, that may change as the summer progresses.
Honestly doesn't get much better than this.
Pack out whatever you pack in!

Awesome view at the top! Decent incline most of the way up- worth it though

Very nice trail with beautiful views! I didn't read the reviews that said to stay right at the fork (honestly don't remember a fork) to get to the top of the falls so we ended up climbing up some rock and cutting over about the middle of the falls. Will definitely try again to find the right way to go to the top!

Loved this hike... clean trail and worth it to get to the Hot Springs.

Moderate, pretty steep but not too bad. Pretty waterfall at the top

Decent hike, great view

Incline the whole way...can be tough but the view is worth the cardio

This is a great trail, I was surprised how easy and quick it was to see the waterfall! It’s a pretty waterfall but there is definitely crowding in front of the waterfall but other then that the trail was mostly cleared!

Absolutely gorgeous! A little bit of everything that makes me smile. Flowers, water, trees, dramatic rock formations, aspen trees and small meadows.

This is a gorgeous, well-marked trail great for kids. Thick, healthy flora provides shade most of the way.

We drove on this scenic byway several times over this weekend. It's nice as it is not heavily traveled, and free to enter from both ends. There are some nice overlooks and many hiking trails. There are several more trails on this drive that aren't listed here in alltrails. There are many places to camp for free as well as a few private campgrounds (pay for camping) along this route.

first part is intense uphill and you can hear traffic. after about a half mile the sound of water downs out the traffic and it becomes nice. not a whole lot of people, but you are surrounded by trees for the most part so you don't see a whole lot of grand views.

Beautiful hike! Me and my 11 yo and 8 yo did it with me. The 2nd half is steep but the waterfall is so worth it.
