Nice hike for a view of the city below. Only saw 3 other people on the entire trail. Perhaps it was because we went at the hottest part of the day. (Not the smartest idea.) Easy hike along the rim.

Great views with a variety of terrain and elevation. Awesome trail run!

Fun easy trail. Beautiful green trees against the red rock. Love it!

Great hike to do with kids. We did the Chuckwalla connecting to Turtle Wall. The kids loved the climbing/bouldering opportunities! Very wide defined trail. Definetely will do again for the "natural playground"!

Went for my morning run before sunrise. Did the first part with the headlamp. Nice overlook on the sleeping city.Easy trail. I did park at pioneer hills headtrail, crossed the road and joined this trail at the middle, did the loop and came back to the trail start, then came back to the parking along the red hills pkwy and run on the other side on pioneer hill trail, which is a dirt road with very nice views too. Could not run the whole trail and got lost once or twice. But google map helped me find my way back

Easy trails that were fun to hike. Started with Chuckwalla TRAIL as a connector. Then hiked Halfway Wash Trail all of the way. Then connected to Paradise Rim Trail, which had great views. From there took Turtle Wall Trail back to Chuckwalla to finish up. Nothing terrifically difficult but a good hike.

Actually we hiked up to Elephant Arch starting at the Mill Creek TH and then following Bone Wash. The trail started out a double track that goes to a Washington City well. After that it follows a sandy wash bottom. Well marked trail to an interesting Arch that really does look like an elephant. Easy hike but sandy most of the way.

This was a great trail for my dog. Only passed one group of hikers and the temperature was perfect at 8am. The beauty exceeded my expectations.

Fun trail with the kids. Lots of adventure points - rock climbing, tree climbing, rock scrambling, stick and squash collecting. Lots of hikers and dogs on the trail.

We didn’t do an out and back. We ended up doing a loop and connecting into the Paradise trail. It was gorgeous! One of my favorites. A little sandy at times, but a great outing.

Pretty and peaceful. Great views of the surrounding areas and views of Zion National Park. Saw a few trail runners and a couple other hikers. For the most part we were the only ones on the trail.

Ran this in the dark under a full moon. Fairly easy to navigate, with several signs along the way. Pretty views of the city, terrain not too bad. Still managed to get lost once.

This trail is mostly sandstone rock but smooth and safe. Horses are permitted and the views are a treasure.

Great hiking trail but not a great bike ride. There are portions of it that you will need to carry the bike at the beginning. It you don't want to hit those sections you can access the trail a little further north where it hits the City Creek trail but bring lots of extra tubes, there are lots of goat head stickers on that section.

Starting at park adds a nice touch to this really nice trail.

Loved it. Just enough to be interesting but not give my grandma knees pain. Plus does it get any better than red rock for a background?

Very exposed and at times it was hard to find the trail since you are walking on top of boulders and such. It was so awesome though. I would totally do this one again.

I have have done this hike my entire life, it's beautiful and nice because it's so close to town!

It's pretty especially in spring, it's nice because it's close to town. The trail is very small and rocky so it's a run and walk a little trail, which is okay too. I initially set out thinking it was Owens loop but ended up turning into the city creek "a little confusing". I would recommend early morning or just before dusk, not a mid day summer or even mid day spring hike unless you like the heat. Overall, it kept me on my toes with the switch backs, it would be a nice rainy trail run though.

Great hike to look over St George. Do early to avoid the heat.

We hiked at sunset.. we took the road down to the trail head which didn't have a parking lot ... we noticed city creek trailhead on our way down.. we took it on the way back to make our hike slightly longer. It was fun except for 29mph wind blowing. Only a few boys out hiking tonight.
