Fun easy family hike. Great reward at end of reaching the cave. Awesome views.

I'm not sure how to make this a loop hike. We started at the Paradise Rim trailhead and hiked to Scout Cave and ended up coming out I believe at Johnson Canyon in Snow Canyon. Luckily, we had a family member to come pick us up to take us back to our car. Would love to do again and figure out how to make it a loop hike. The trail was beautiful from Paradise Rim to Scout Cave, lots of fun lookouts. Hiking out from Scout Cave you're hiking in a wash, nothing much to see from there. Would do again, but would like to figure out the loop.

We had great time on this trail. It was not too hard or too long just a nice hike. We took about two hours to do Scout Cave and Johnsons Arch.

We started the trail from a pullout just off the the road (Red hills parkway). We parked in a dirt lot and started the trail. This was an easy beginner trail for my husband and I, but a challenging and fun trail for our kids (4,6,9). Our 4 year old got a bit nervous about the ups and downs and rocky terrain. Our other kids loved it! There was a fun section of Cairns along to path to stop and admire and add to. We didn’t finish the loop, but finished at Dixie rock.

Great trail after you turn left toward Dino Cliffs. Lots of beautiful scenery, fun rock formations and views of the city. We hiked this trail, others were mountain biking and made me want to bring my bike back and try it :)

One of my favorite biking trials in the area, fun ride with great views.

Easy trails that were fun to hike. Started with Chuckwalla TRAIL as a connector. Then hiked Halfway Wash Trail all of the way. Then connected to Paradise Rim Trail, which had great views. From there took Turtle Wall Trail back to Chuckwalla to finish up. Nothing terrifically difficult but a good hike.

nice trail even with a lot of hikers on it.

We didn’t do an out and back. We ended up doing a loop and connecting into the Paradise trail. It was gorgeous! One of my favorites. A little sandy at times, but a great outing.

Pretty and peaceful. Great views of the surrounding areas and views of Zion National Park. Saw a few trail runners and a couple other hikers. For the most part we were the only ones on the trail.

Great little hike! Easy to get to with a great view and plenty of gorgeous red rock. We took my two year old, and he walked half of it with no problem.

Appropriately named; plenty of deep, bright red sand to enjoy! I've only completed this trail from east to west; using the Grapevine Trail to connect in and then the Millcreek Trail to exit back out for a total of 6 miles.
Beautiful lookout once on top of the hill; a nice 360 view. The west end of the trail is hard to follow mostly because sand can't be hardpacked and well-worn so its easy to loose among the sagebrush. I've lost trail several times, even after knowing my way down. The key is to look for the next white trail marker sticking up and make your way to it.

An excellent place to see unique wildflowers in the spring!!

The beginning is real pretty with a great view of the city.

Fun little hike. Very easy, pretty sure dogs are not allowed, as there are no dog signs. Close to St. George, not a suffer fest in anyway but still fun.

Gorgeous hike. Great for those not looking to be too far removed from "civilization."

Beautiful rock formations, trail was not crowded.

Nice trail along the cliffs with a great view.

Take plenty of water. Plan on a 5.5 hour hike. I would rank moderate to hard. Great hike for cardio and fitness!

Really pretty hike. The end is worth the view. Good for almost every one.

It's pretty especially in spring, it's nice because it's close to town. The trail is very small and rocky so it's a run and walk a little trail, which is okay too. I initially set out thinking it was Owens loop but ended up turning into the city creek "a little confusing". I would recommend early morning or just before dusk, not a mid day summer or even mid day spring hike unless you like the heat. Overall, it kept me on my toes with the switch backs, it would be a nice rainy trail run though.

A lovely trail... I took off and realized it was an easy path so I looked at the GPS map. I saw that Beck Hill was near by so I crossed over to it and then met the loop again at Gila. I added more length which I wanted to do. It was great to see cactus in bloom. Beautiful views were all around.

Good trail that has heavy traffic

Nice trail to take our old dog to, since it goes fairly straight. Not a lot of up and down. Really nice views all around.

We started on the east end by parking by the Gustave A Larson Company. No trailhead marker so you just have to piece your way up the hill. After crossing over a wire fence there will be trail markers. Very easy/flat trail. Full sun.

Fun bike ride with some great views! This bike ride was a little above my skill level, but when I get better I can't wait to go back and try it again.
