I just want say that YET AGAIN, the All Trails app is wrong for this trail head. drive down to the entrance to the Dixie National Forest entrance (where the giant sign is as you hit where the rocks turn feom grey to red. there is a parking lot there. That is where the trail head is. you can't park at the campground unless ypu are camping there as the description tells you that is where they got on the trail and the directions on all trails bring you to the campground. so that being said, getting extremely frustrated with this app, now the directions are 50% wrong to trail heads, this is is an amazing, amazing hike and definaelty in my top 10 if not, top 5 ever and I have done alot of damn hikes. I didn't see a soul until the last mile when I was finishing the loop. 2 mountain bikers and two other hikers. Bring a shit load of water, and wear a sunhat, your gonna need it!

A hidden stash of hoodoos and red cliffs. Take advantage of this sweet area before 11qm if possible. I arrived in the parking lot at 9am and there was nobody else there. I took in a sunrise hike in Bryce and made it here for this combo hike. Don’t be lured into sticking to the area behind the visitor center. There is magic up in the hills of Golden Wall/buckhorn. Totally enjoyable, but steeper than expected if you keep to the left on your way up to complete the Golden Wall loop! Worth the effort.

Fun short little hike. We squirreled and went off the Photo trail a bit. The sun hit the rocks perfectly making a golden glow in the background. The Red Canyon rocks remind us of Thunder Mountain at Disneyland, sometimes unreal looking, beautiful though.

Definitely recommend doing the Castle Bridge part of the trail. The views at the top were the best. The trail North of the parking lot was real cool too. We didn’t make it to the smaller northeastern trail.

Great casual hike with the dog. Highway sound was a bummer but the views were great.

Everything starts here in this description by Disneyland designing their Thunder Mountain Rollercoaster after this trail! No wonder, lol! WalkingRocky

Pros: -Pretty easy trail -There were many spots to sit and enjoy some fresh air -You could walk up to some of the beautiful structures -There were posts along the trail that you can follow with an interpreting guide found at the visitor center, which provided some nice information Cons: -Very rocky -Not great views as trees were in the way Overall this would be a nice excursion if you only had like 20-30 mins or were headed to Bryce and wanted to stop and take a look. If you want a longer or more difficult hike there are plenty other trails in red canyon to hike!

Nice trail with great views and some elevation gain but nothing crazy. Lots of nice hoo-doos, some caves, and a great look out point at the end of the Bird’s Eye trail. Great that you can take the doggos as well.

Took the horses ups this beautiful trail and it was so peaceful. We passed a couple of bikers but they were all very pleasant. I would definitely trail ride there again.

Sketchy if you have trouble with heights—wish I’d done sneakers instead of a bike because the amazing views weren’t as impressive while I dealt with my wheels.

Beautiful easy trail. If you want views of hoodoos and formations like you get in Bryce without the crowds and without a lot of elevation gain, this trail is for you! Super easy with tons of great views around every turn.

Mountain bikingGreat!

Excellent mountain bike trail. Beautiful views with some challenging, short climbs and switchbacks. This is probably too challenging for beginners. We started at Coyote Hollow.
