Nice hike. Steep in the beginning but evens out. If you’re
scared of heights you might want to reconsider, a few spots were on the edge, don’t look down!

Lovely hike with the right amount of up, down and traversing the mountain. Also it is largely in the shade. The down is a bit steep in places so hiking sticks are nice if you have sensitive knees.

The fall colors were just starting to appear! This is a great hike, not too steep, amazing views!

Such a fun hike! It was pretty steep for the first little but and then it evened out. The views were beautiful and I would recommend this hike!

Very pretty and not too hard, at all. I got the hike done in about 2 1/2 hours, but that was with me stopping and taking pictures the whole way. I didn't see a single soul throughout the whole hike.

Good hike. Our seven year old with a cousin to distract him did surprising well on the hike. Given the young age of some of our hikers (7, 9,10) plus teens and adults we felt good about the 3.5 hours it took to reach the peak. Rocky with a pretty constant incline most of the way. (The first half was definitely easier then the second.) It was harder than expected, especially on the knees coming down.

Nice loop to hike if you have an afternoon to hike. Toughest part was the switchbacks up and downhill. Mostly shaded so the heat wasn’t a problem. Many lookout spots that have incredible views.

Loved this hike! Fairly strenuous on the way up. Not too technical. It was safe and fun for our 2 huskies to join us and the view was incredible! Love being at the highest peak in the bear river mountains.

Amazing views!

Nice trail in this part of Utah what’s not to like

We hiked to the waterfall. Great trail pretty easy u til the last mile then it was moderate with more rocks and incline. The waterfall is beautiful!!! And at the top of the waterfall where the water comes out of the mountains had my kids in awe!!! Trail was mostly shaded. Great almost 5 mile hike to the waterfall and back.

pretty easy Trail however it is lacking in shade so be careful what time you go

Really fun trail, enjoyed the drive up to the trailhead

Some rocks and technical places. I had to walk my bike in a couple places but only for 15-20 feet or so. My wife didn’t like it too much. Great for a hike. A creek runs by the side of the trail the entire length. There are some cool beaver dams and neat things to see. Free range for cows so there are messy spots to avoid in the trail.

Hiked this with my 12 year old daughter today. The beginning and end were quite steep but the middle was flat with great views. There was lots of shade along the way, which was nice. It was SUPER dry which I didn’t love, and you never really get away from the traffic noise in the canyon which I also didn’t love. We got surprised by a moose as we were making our way down, but he didn’t bother us. Overall, good hike but probably not one we will do again any time soon.

Great hike today. Surprisingly cool weather, and gorgeous wildflowers. Now is the PERFECT time to see the flowers. We spotted many columbines, forget-me-nots, wild rose, fireweed, penstemon, bluebells, golden aster, indian paintbrush, yarrow, geraniums. Also a bluebird, a golden finch, a doe, and hundreds of butterflies. The peak is rewarding, and the journey itself is worth it.

Great hike! If you want to avoid snow you definitely can. FYI if you “send it” and slide down snow hills you will end up bloody. Other than that it is a great hike with great views!

Nice area coming out of Tony Grove. We went in July when the flowers were all over. However, to me the apex of the hike was a let down. You get to the top and you see sort of a bad side of Cache. The views from the Wellsvilles is a lot better. For a local hike this is a fine hike, but if I was in charge of planning a hike that would impress someone from out of state this would not be on my list.

My wife and I loved this hike along with staying 2 nights at the lake. This valley is very green and beautiful! The trail has a very gradual incline through the nicely shaded trees in the beginning next to the mountain stream. Once you hit the beaver ponds, the trail opens up into this meadow where you can see some cliff sides and water falls. The last 1/3 - 1/4 of the hike inclines a lot in elevation towards the lake. We found a spring running into the lake on the south East end. It provided very clean water to drink while we were there.

Really fun trail. Pretty easy. Not alot shade until further up but a beautiful trail! I'm a photographer and I wasn't disappointed! lots of butterflies!

The views are amazing! My husband and I hike with our 2 kids 10 and 11. This hike was a bit harder than expected. Mostly because everyone we talked to said it was about the same as White pine but it's not. the hard part on white pine last 30 min and this hike is mostly like that the whole way. We finished and will do again just not as often as some of the others. the elevation gain was 1,919 according to my GPS and we totaled 7.3 miles with very little walking around at the top.

One of my favorite trails in Logan

So close to being ready for summer! Had a great great hike on the trail, but definitely dropped in the snow to my upper thigh a couple times so be careful and bring a friend just in case.
Unparalleled views of the valley at the top.

I always seemed to hike crimson on hot days in the heat of the day, but I went at sunrise today and loved it. The switch backs will get ya, but after it's smooth sailing and some of the best views of the canyon. Truly beautiful trail.
Be careful with dogs on leashes - I've seen multiple rattlesnakes and elk here in the last couple years and they have bear signs up at the trailhead.

Foggy, misty day when we were up there, but that only added to the majesty! Great hike.

Great hike, drive right next to Cherry Peak Resort and to the parking lot above to start the trail. If wanted, you can hike all the way up to Cherry Peak also, great place!
