Great views, a waterfall and a beautiful lake.

Hikes and camped this past weekend. It was definitely a workout but was worth it when we reached the lake. Camped on top of the waterfall and was so beautiful to wake up to.

Maybe I haven’t been on enough hikes to rate this fairly, but I thought this was hard and very rocky. Not ideal for little ones. Hardly any path without having to climb large rocks. It was fun and a pretty location. Nice to hear the nearby running river and ends at a beautiful lake. Went Sunday at 1:30 and it was very busy.

I like backpacking

Gate was open to the trail today, still muddy and wet, but great non the less.

I would hike here everyday for the view and peace if I could. Went high noon on a Tuesday and it was practically empty minus a select few. Highly recommend going to the other side of the lake for sure.

Just called the ranger station as well, was reported it would be closed until the 25th of May.

I loved the hike and the views were worth it!!! I’d definitely go again!

I called the Pleasant Grove Forest Ranger District and found out 008/Silver Lake Road is not open yet. I was advised to call around the 15th and they would have more info. Their number is 801-785-3563.

This was our first hike in Utah. It was a great beginner hike. It had some nice views and a few alternate paths to travel for a more “off-road” experience. It was pretty crowded when we went, but it was on a weekend.

Does anyone know if the road is open yet?

Incredible hike!!! We only made it 4 miles up, shy of the lake by a mile or so. We were not prepared to traverse the knee to waist deep snow in spots. Must do! We will be back!!!

Great hike for come back hikers. Easy to complete and it’s fun to be around water for sometime. It’s reasonably busy and can completed in couple hours.

This was such a fun hike. There is a great climb for the first half of the hike and then the rest is just a nice trail hike around the lake. Super fun to come down as well!

Great hike! Easy enough to do, but hard enough to definitely break a sweat. It was also a good enough hike to do it barefoot!

By far one of my favorite hikes. The lake is beautiful!

Tried to hike this on Saturday but the road that takes you the last 5.5 miles is still closed. Everyone had to turn around at the gate. Will try again in a month and update.

Very easy and short. good for a quick hike

Beautiful.

Hiked this trail with my two kids last week, my five year old did great. this Trailhead is a little bit steeper than the Granite trail head that also leads to Bell Canyon reservoir but it was still a nice Trail. The reservoir water line is still low as of last Sunday; leaving the lower Creek bed dry, but this means you can easily hike around the reservoir without getting your feet wet. It is also not stocked for fishing yet from what I heard from other hikers.

on White Pine Lake Trail

Challenging trail especially in the snow because some areas aren't very packed so you end up knee deep or more. Most people choose the Red Pine Trail over this one because it's a little shorter and a little less steep. This one is more peaceful because there were no other hikers just two skiers. I'll definitely try this one again when everything is thawed out more.

Steep first .4 miles. Fairly nice walk around the lake. Some snow on north facing trials. Overall a very pleasant hike.

Very steep. Went a few days ago and is currently covered in snow and some ice. This hike is basically you climbing the entire time until you reach the lake and then climbing back down. Would not recommend toddlers due to steep stairs and ice. The lake was semi frozen but still beautiful. Gave my thighs a workout for sure.

The track was pretty well cut all the way to the waterfall this morning despite the recent storms. The snowshoes were definitely helpful but you could pull it off with spikes if you're just going to the falls. The waterfall was completely covered in snow and not the giant icicle I thought it would be. Still amazingly beautiful. Soaked it all in with a little breakfast at the top of the falls.

Loved this trail. Lots of beautiful scenery, and in late July the wildflowers were even more beautiful than the mountains! Ran into a moose sitting in the middle of the trail! It’s a bit of a challenge, but incredibly worth the effort!

This is the steeper but shorter trailhead. It’s less popular so I have found it easier to get parking.

The trail was really pretty and easy, however when we went down, there were approximately 700 Boy Scouts coming up on a Friday night, as well as some other groups, and there aren’t really a ton of camp spots. So I recommend it for a day hike, but if you camp there, you may be sharing it with a lot of the Boy Scouts in Utah county. When I have more time I want to head up to silver glance lake above.

We got on the trail around 9 AM...only a few other cars in the parking lot. Trail is/was mostly visible due to previous skiers/snowshoers. Attempted to follow trail using AllTrails App, ended up cutting fresh trail for a while. Didn't make it the whole way up because the weather changed and snow was falling pretty hard. Visibility was low at points. Will be attempting again in a month or so.

Beautiful hike. The beginning was easy over packed snow and little to no ice. Never used spikes, but used hiking poles which really helped with the second half of the hike as the trail became steeper and more snow. We made it about 4 miles in and turned around before the lake. The trail diverted into a few different paths but we kept post holing and decided to turn around.
