Description

Goblin Valley State Park lies within the San Rafael Desert on the southeastern edge of the San Rafael Swell, north of the Henry Mountains. The park has a vast landscape of sandstone goblins, the unusual stone shapes result from the weathering of Entrada sandstone. The movie, Galaxy Quest, was filmed at Goblin Valley State Park because of its unearthly scenery. Visitors can hike among beautiful rock formations and discover numerous haunting coves. Day-use fees (valid for two days): $15 private vehicle $10 Utah seniors 62 and older $10 motorcycle, bicycle, or pedestrian $4 per-person commercial vehicle fee
